  9. This duel isn’t the best idea, but I’m not sure this Third Prince really has a choice about it anymore. It’s not like he has a lot of options (and people) left available to him. And I doubt he could’ve held a private duel or trap without his two rivals learning about it, and it would be even more “dishonorable”.
