    • Unfortunately, Tianheng hasn’t actually gotten to the point where his feelings are romantic yet, even though we’re all cheering for them from the omniscient reader POV. Despite his amiable facade, our ML is actually pretty conservative with regards to his own emotions. I don’t think he even has any other genuine friend like our MC has Xu Lingxiu. At this point, he still thinks of our MC as close family.

      • Yes, I can see what you mean. It’s hard to gauge Tianheng’s feelings because there’s very little of his POV, and even then we don’t get to read about his deepest feelings. Even for Gu Zuo I think it’s not quite love yet. And Tianheng doesn’t even seem to feel any lust for Gu Zuo, so there’s a long road ahead.

        Regardless, the way he treats Ah Zuo is definitely much more intimate than how he treats anyone else, that’s why I sometimes can’t tell what’s he feeling. Anyway, whatever relationship they have (friends, family, or something more), I absolutely love how they trust each other so completely 😊
