    I guess this hits even more if your own family also has a history of being bullied. It makes Huo Qu’s helplessness more logical, as he completely retreated into his shell. He’s also probably highly autistic, so…

    • Bingo. Neurodivergence takes many forms because it’s a spectrum. He’s still doing pretty well, being able to do most things if prompted and he’s very intelligent, even if he doesn’t like to communicate much. I think he’ll make some serious efforts toward his own self-care skillset once he realizes his feelings toward Qinghuan and decides that he can’t always trouble him to do everything. The fact that he went to the set to comfort him already shows that he’s beginning to make efforts in that direction, which is very sweet.
