With the help of Gil and Dr. Hugo, Seth’s mom successfully filed multiple cases against Ned Swan. Atty. Benjamin Scoffer was a celebrated lawyer who won all of his cases for nearly two decades. It was not very much surprising to see how a competent lawyer like him worked efficiently without wasting any second. The legal team gathered evidences against Ned Swan in a blink of an eye.
The media caught wind of the situation. Because Ned Swan was an influential person, the news outlets became interested with the ongoing case. Just days later, many interesting facts about Ned Swan was uncovered by the media.
The man was a serial predator and manipulator. The police uncovered video tapes of Ned Swan with different women doing sexual things. The other victims also appeared and pursued cases against Ned Swan. Good thing, the law against cybercrime was already established in the country. Even his embezzlement activities were unearthed by the police. It was a different case filed against Ned Swan by his own company. The monster was arrested immediately. He was put behind bars and was awaiting trial.
A week after the incident, Seth was with his mom and Gil. They were inside the place that Seth’s mom rented for her restaurant business. The place was not too big or too small. It was enough to accommodate just the right amount of customers. The place was located in the heart of the city. Onlookers couldn’t help but be curious while watching them getting busy inside. Some of them couldn’t contain their curiosity and asked directly about the place. Seth’s mom told them enthusiastically that it was going to be a restaurant specializing with local dishes.
Seth was very grateful to Gil, Dr. Hugo, and Atty. Benjamin for their help with his mom’s case. But the very thing Seth was most thankful for was the fact that his mom looked so genuinely happy despite what happened to her. She was too busy with making her dream come true instead of wallowing in agony. Seth admired how strong his mom was. No wonder when she left him in his previous life, Seth became lost and lonely. But now, he was fortunate enough to get to know his mom more and be with her every single day. Those thoughts put a smile on Seth’s face.
“You look great when you smile, Seth.”
Seth merely choked in his own saliva upon hearing those words from Gil. He was so focused in his thoughts he failed to notice that Gil was standing in front of him, observing what he was doing.
“So, I look dreadful when I’m not smiling?” Seth made a joke to cover up his embarrassment.
“Of course not!” Gil immediately responded. “You look great in everything you do. When you’re studying, eating, listening to your favorite music, watching TV shows, even when you’re doing nothing. Oh, you also look great when you grind your teeth while sleeping. I find it cute, really.”
Seth’s eyes widened. “What do you mean when I am grinding my teeth while sleeping? Do…do I really do that?”
Gil winked at him. “Don’t worry, it’ s cute.”
“No!” Seth blurted out.
The past week was so intense, Gil stayed by his side to help him get through with it. They would stay together to get Seth’s mind off the horrible things. Gil was also there to give support toward Seth’s mom. He told them that he would always be with them. There were nights when Gil would sleep with Seth in his room. Although, they didn’t share a bed, they were together inside a small room and that was enough for Seth to lose his mind.
Seth needed to study for the math quiz bee and Gil was there to help him. There were questions and problems he had a hard time answering, but Gil was always there to give him a helping hand. Gil was a marvelous teacher. Gil taught Seth different techniques on how to solve them in the shortest way possible.
There were also times when Gil would let Seth do his own thing, while Gil would write things on his notebook. When Seth asked Gil about what he was writing, Gil would just say that Seth would know about it at the right time.
“Hey, Gilbert, make those hands work! Don’t spend all your time looking at Seth with obvious sparkle in your eyes. Move your butt, young man!”
Seth and Gil both looked at the direction of the owner of the voice. It was Dr. Carl Hugo—wearing an apron and mask while holding a feather duster and a broom.

Dr. Hugo and Seth’s mom had a talk not only about Seth but also regarding Gil’s situation. Seth didn’t know what the real score between his mom and Gil’s uncle, but he was happy to know that there was someone worthy who loved and appreciated his mom. His mom deserved to have a happy and loving relationship with the man she truly loved.
While Seth was having those thoughts, Gil held his hand and said: “Let’s clean over there, Seth. The lovebirds need some time alone.”
That was when Seth noticed his mom being cutesy with Dr. Hugo. Seth shook his head.
“Mom, Dr. Hugo—we’ll leave you two alone.” Seth uttered with a grin.
“Please call me Uncle Carl.” The man pleaded to Seth.
Seth had been told several times by the doctor to call him Uncle Carl. Though, he always forgot to comply. But, Seth would try his best.
“Okay, Uncle Carl…” Seth gave the man a gentle smile.
“Be wary of Gilbert. If he does something that you don’t like, tell me immediately, okay?”
“Auntie, if my uncle does something inappropriate you can punch him straight in the face. Then, tell me and we will beat him up together.” Gil said in a playful tone.
“You bastard—”
“Don’t worry, Gilbert. Your uncle is a very kind person.” Seth’s mom had a beautiful smile on her face.
Seth and Gil looked at each other. They both chuckled.
The two of them went to the innermost part of the room and started cleaning. Seth couldn’t help but look at Gil whenever the latter would use his muscles to lift some boxes. Seth fetched a pail of water from the restroom. Gil saw him carrying it and Gil snatched the pail from Seth’s hand. Seth could see how strong Gil’s back was. His friend was wearing a white T-shirt with thin fabric. Because Gil became sweaty from cleaning, his muscles became quite visible. Seth bit his lip. Oh, God, he was becoming a shameless fool!
Seth decided to focus on cleaning. He put a justifiable amount of detergent soap in the pail of water, then he dipped a clean rag inside, twisted the cloth to let go of excess water, and started cleaning the windows.
Seth was too focused on his task that he didn’t know how much time had passed. He just noticed that the water inside the pail had been reduced into half. Seth decided to go to the bathroom to add more water. He carried the pail with still half of the water inside, but Gil stopped him.
“Let me do it for you, Seth.” Gil offered.
Seth shook his head. “No, it’s okay.
Gil also placed his hand on the pail’s handle. “Let me…”
“No, let me…” Seth pulled the object in his direction.
On the other hand, Gil did the same. “Seth…”
The two started a game of tug. They didn’t stop until one of them lost high grip resulting for the water inside to splash on to the both of them. Seth and Gil were both wet. They looked at each other. Then, they both laughed.
“Oh, what happened to you, boys?” Seth’s mom appeared with obvious worry written on her face.
The two just grinned.
“We do not have a shower here. Why don’t the two of you go the public bath right around the corner and clean yourselves. There’s also a laundry service there.”
Gil and Seth did what they’ve been told. Although it was a Sunday, not many people were inside the public bath. Seth and Gil immediately went to the locker room. Seth was minding his own business when his eyes travelled to Gil’s direction. The latter was removing his shirt without any care in the world.
Seth gulped. He couldn’t take his eyes off Gil’s body. Gil had a broad chest and a six-pack abs. When Gil removed his pants—only a pair of black boxer shorts remained on his body, Seth gasped for air. However, the show was not yet done. Seth saw Gil pulled down his boxer shorts. But before Seth could see anything, he immediately turned his gaze away from Gil. He was not so shameless as to take advantage of Gil.
“Why aren’t you talking off your clothes?” Gil asked him.
Seth’s face felt warm. “I am taking them off now!”
“Or I can take them off for you…” Gil teased him.
Seth was gasping for air. Shit. Shit. Shit. “Just go ahead. I’ll be with you in a minute.”
Gil squeezed Set’s shoulder. “Don’t make me wait. I’ll miss you. He-he.”
“Shut up!”
Gil walked past him. Seth jaw dropped when he saw Gil’s butt flaunting its whole glory for Seth to see.
Seth bit his lip. He felt something hard standing up in his lower body. Seth took a deep breath. It would be too shameless of him to appear with an obvious hard on in a public bath. He calmed himself down before he followed Gil.
That night, Seth had a hard time sleeping. In his mind, the memory of Gil’s body was etched in the deepest part of his brain. His teenage hormones were giving him difficulties. Good thing, Gil went home and didn’t sleep in his room.
For the first time in his life, Seth experienced something he only read from books. Seth had a wet dream.

Seth went to school earlier than usual. He wanted to calm himself down before he could see Gil. He wanted to be ready or else something wrong might happen. Seth was cursing himself for acting like a pervert while he opened the door to the classroom. Seth’s teenage thoughts stopped immediately when he saw someone was sitting on his chair.
“Hello, Seth Wiley. I’m back…”
Seth knitted his eyebrows.
