I just needed a bit of time to get used to a new schedule, but once I do start posting I’ll (hopefully) be doing 2-3 updates per week, averaging to 1 complete arc every 2 months.     • Each arc is like 20 chapters. I’m planning on translating arc by arc and gradually releasing the chapters at a rate of 1-2 (or 3?) chapters a week and finish updating 1 arc every 2 months. I’ll be translating the next arc as I’m updating but I hope to stick pretty close to a rate of 1 arc every 2 months. (I’m bad at math so this will probably lead to me just dumping a massive truckload of updates at the end of the 2 month period, but we’ll see how it goes.)

80. Hmmm… I know that Senpai can be translated to Senior in English, but maybe it would be better to keep the original Chinese term and use a footnote to explain it’s meaning.     I loved the beginning of this novel, it’s so sweet and fluffy, but I once accidentally saw bad reviews on NU saying that the ML is basically a creepy psycho. And somebody even called this a horror novel! ( ･᷄-･᷅ )

    Now I don’t know if I should continue reading, I don’t mind a little stalking or overprotectiveness or a bit of fake dub-con (only in a comedy bl novel), but I hate actual rapey abusive MLs🔫. If anyone has read ahead, do you have any suggestions?

    • I would suggest read what is already here (basically 2 chapters from the finish of the first arc). Because it’s quite sweet, the comments on nu are looking at it through a very realistic lens (some of the actions of the ml are 🤨) but because our mc is love brain for him even when he rejects ml or finds out about his actions it is all very soft responses. Kinda reminds me of that paranoid boss is my boyfriend novel, because if mc didn’t love him it would be a tragedy but because it’s mutual everything is just sweet. (It is not written to sound abusive).
