Aww it works both ways, Yue Fei. If they cared enough to really dig into who is boinking Wei Qing, then they would know to be grateful he’s being nurtured (autocorrect seriously thinks I meant neutered!!) and approve based on that alone.

His lapses in self-esteem are a little less eyecatching than Wei Qing’s, but they definitely also exist and effect him. Hopefully the acceptance helps! (Neutering would be bad, haha).

I find it interesting how it differs what people perceive as good weather and bad weather. For an example me: Sun? Pretty good for nature but you can’t drag me out when there isn’t a single cloud in the sky or I’ll turn into a lobster.
Warm Rain? Hell yes.
His failures to communicate don’t stop at his bad ‘for your own good’ coldness– but at least we’re getting to a point where those failures will be slightly annoying and mostly cute instead of brutal and scarring.

My first impression of Wei Qiwan was “what kind of dogblod asshole brother is that?” But as the story progressed I realised “oh wait, he’s just an idiot”.
His clueless actions are adorable and luckily, he now has LS and YF to bonk him when he decides whats better for Wei Qing without asking the person in question.
