Yu Sui never wanted to remember the month that followed his birthday that year.

Thanks so much for the 3 ch. in a row. Up till this ch I still thought that there was some misunderstanding that needed to be cleared up between them. But to my understanding, his teammates and Shi Luo knew what JYH had forced him to do, and Shi Luo is just mad for being left behind, and ughhh Yu Sui waiting sooooo long to tell Shi Luo cuz he can’t bear to hurt him ;( I feel like past Shi Luo was still really childish with his ultimatum, like “I’m never gonna talk to you ever again!!! But he obviously didn’t mean at all.

this chapter touched a sore spot for me. I absolutely hate child negligence, abandon, whatever else involving child abuse in a physic or psicologic way, I hate adults that make empty promises, I hate that the most. I know what it feels, pretty damn well, to hope to get together as a family again.

So angsty. i feel so bad for SL, but in the same breath, none of that was fair to YS at all☹ YS has been trying his best for SL and SL KNOWS that, and i know it’s the trauma speaking, but it really doesn’t excuse treating/speaking to someone who has genuinely showed you they care badly. But again, it is understandable, especially when you think about how young SL was, they both were tbh, it’s so sad how things like that always end up causing conflict in relationships (irl too)

However now that all this has been explained I think it’s definitely clear that SL has regretted his words and has been preparing for YS’s return for a long time, between his switch to striker and insistence on one-year contracts. He probably wasn’t willing to reach out to YS first from a mixture of pride and also worry that all of his original fears had already come true, but now they’re both in the same country again..

Okay I’m glad that atleast he didn’t do injustice to himself by not explaining everything to his Teammates, and that he made sure blame go to the correct person between them. So then since all of this happened, I’m wondering now what happened to JYH after all of this? After he got the money he needed ever so desperately even if it was at the expense of his former team?

That deep-seated abandonment issue was originally caused by shi luo’s mom. Fuck her! But at least i finally know that yu sui came clean with shi luo before he left. So it was all on shi luo this time. Whatever his anger is coming from. Idk.
I love that the conflict here wasn’t because of a misunderstanding and both of them are good boys and the situation really just spiralled out of control.
