Chapter 31
At the FOG China Division League headquarters, Yu Sui submitted the documents for his, Puppy’s and Chen Huo’s cross-division transfer. He also organized all the documents for the formation of a new team. The procedure was cumbersome and after submitting the requirements, Yu Sui and Puppy sat down to wait.
When the senior officials at the headquarters heard the Yu Sui was there, they hurried out to chat with him. They gave him a very enthusiastic reception.

Puppy pushed Yu Sui, “Do you not like him anymore? You were so calm just now, so that means you don’t like him anymore, right? Now that you’ve said everything, I feel a little better.”
Yu Sui ignored Puppy.

“I thought that after two years, he’d be pretty chill about this. Puppy shook his head. “It feels like this base isn’t going to get a moment’s peace after Shi Luo moves in.”
Yu Sui took his own suitcase and didn’t make conversation. Puppy said again, “Oh, yeah. Old Qiao told me yesterday that he has to wait two more days before he can come over. So the position of coach is temporarily vacant. The new manager, Zhou Huo will be coming over at about the same time.”

“You don’t even need to be playing the game. The two of you just have to be in the same frame for the live broadcast.”
I like Puppy, he’s so cool! But you can’t make Shi Luo forget the past, that’ll mean make him forget how good Yu Sui was to him.

I’m pretty sure what Puppy refers with let bygones be bygones is to forget the bad memories not the good ones. The past cannot be erased, yes, there’s no reason to forget the good memories but holding onto the bad ones will only burden yourself. Look at what happened to Shi Lou these past few years, he’s not at peace. He pretends to be okay but at the mention of Yu Sui’s name he gets tense all over. He should learn to let go of some things. Start anew. Or else how will his relationship to Yu Sui flourish? That’s Puppy’s purpose for saying that. He wanna play matchmaker 😂

Puppy really said it right. So angsty! And I don’t think when Shi Luo said he can’t forget what happened in the past, he meant it in a bad i-will-never-forgive-him-and-will-stay-angry-at-him way. I mean, we all know even now Yu Sui is really important to Shi Luo and he wants to be with him. I just hope there won’t be too much angst between them. (Fans will probably throw a lot of insults and stuff when they find out tho)

I officially love Puppy 🥺 I totally get what he was doing while telling Shi Luo what him and Chen Huo experienced in Europe. Shi Luo himself understands that his situation would have been even worse had he gone with them, but it’s understandable that Shi Luo can’t just let bygones be bygones. He felt betrayed and I’m still frustrated with the way he’s acting, but I’m trying to understand him now. I just hope that Shi Luo will make an attempt to get along with everyone once he moves in 😭
