  1. Hmm author wanted to make the competition even more interesting I guess. Make me wonder if Momo gonna use grenade on himself to let Xixi win like before or not 🤭

Thank you for the chapter ❤️

    • More like a messed up new rule. They all should just disbanded the team name and just used it as training centre that produced player then. These new rules ah, after sometimes it will definitely promote transfer and poaching. Leading transfer’s reform I guess. Everyone won’t have thick team honor anymore; this generation shouldn’t be affected but future ah. It promotes division even in a team, maybe betrayal even later. Not even mentioning cooperating between all the promoted players to global as a team. If the promoted had bad reps against each other, the overall mental states of players might be affected! Brutal.
  2. I was about to be moved by Chen Wei’s words when suddenly Liu Weizhe stuffed my mouth with dog food 😭

    Mother what did I do?

    Thanks for the chapter 💕💕

  3. ok so.. am I the only one who completely confused with the rules here? i understand but at the same time not understand…? hmmm but let see how the story explain it by itself… also with how confusing is this, I think no real competition ever did use this rule or am I just not knowledgeable enough?

    • This new rules screamed riot! No real life rules like this ah. Someone might even betrayed the country later easily. The rules are simplified and cruder. Right now all teams; CLM, YEY, MQ, QAQ, DOL, etc had to ensure their personal ranking are in 100th before they can join domestic trials. After ensuring that: Each team can send all their players or formulated who to send as players and substitutes for emergency (because new rules stated substitutes can only substituted for those they registered, not under the banner of the team anymore). For solo: as long as you qualified in 100th personal ranking, you can send unlimited number. E.g as CLM all member in the 100th, they can send all 5 members to compete – but for global they will chose the winner up to 8th ranked from the competition (8 players quota from China and no substitutes). For duo: Teams can send as many duos as they wanted, again, must be within 100th ranked. CLM planned to send two team for duo with Chen Wei as substitute for either duo 1 or duo 2. Winner up to 4th ranked from this competition qualified for global tournament (4 duos from China; 8 players + max 4 substitutes). For squad; Again if both 1st string and 2nd string of let say bigger team like YEY and YEEY ranked in 100th, they both can register for domestic trials as two teams. Now all these teams will compete for 2 spots in global tournament (2 squad: 8 players + max 4 substitutes). Meaning at least squads competition retained and works with old rules.
  4. My issue with the rule change is I believe most completions would knit make changes like thus BW seasons not mid season

  5. Oooh another esports novel! I’m here for it. Yea I’m also not a fan of the format change. Maybe there will be another change in the future to reintegrate the importance of teams. The solo matches makes sense. The way the best of each country will be put together regardless of teams to represent the country in a global competition makes sense but maybe the scoring system can be adjusted to give a better incentive for team play.

  6. This game is actually about being a team (especially in duo and squad). Might as well remove Squad and Duo matches if they ended up competing even with their own teammates in the end. However, this also makes the game more interesting. It was like the global match in GSL where the best of the best players were picked out from every individual player competing with each other to form one group

    • I guess I just don’t have the heart to one of them not being able to play in global competition bcs they all deserve it. I wanted to see them as a complete team, CLM, to win the global championship.

  7. I wouldn’t say that am not fan of the reform or not because in world competitions it’s usually gratifying to have a ‘national’ team (like in God level Summoner) however there’s really no sense of teamness if they make everything so individualistic

    • Yes ah, national team will be renamed squad national team with this rule since no national team can be crowned unless that team is so strong to conquere all solo, duos and squads global quotas representation lol. Which will embarras all other teams to no end. Sucks that in global all their uniforms will only had China flag, no longer CLM from China or YEY from China etc.

  8. What is that rules? Like y’all trained as a team but then would get broken up to be teamed up by who knows who. Like what

  9. Actually kind of familiar with this rule. I used to compete for a certain sport. At first we started as a team then competed with other teams for a city wide tournament, then the winners will form a team together to represent the city for the provincial competition and so on. But this was a sport that focused more on individual strength than team initially so it was okay..

This reform which emphasize in team’s strength rather than individual makes it blur the sense of team cohesion… Like others might just have a mentality of joining a team just for a sake to enter a competition… Kind of no sense of belongingness than how it used to be?

  10. this is too confusing omg, that’s why i prefer MOBA games where each player hv definite roles. but i’m really proud of chen wei, it wasn’t easy to accept his place in the team just like that.

  11. They call this rules fairer but they are actually not. They price individual attack players above all the rest. How is that fair for people that are more support of strategy without attack? I don’t like the changes at all.

  12. I had a headache for this new rules.. the author should have just got to the global championship.. and face a strong enemy or made this way earlier… Their teams are none sense now .. I wonder why they just shut up with that reform and would give the people head aches… All through the first up to the middle part we are reading through their team effort now it’s all nonsense individual strength was the requirements…

    • I also don’t like that the author introduced this random plot point. It is utterly nonsensical and there’s not a pro esports team in the world that would support these kind of BS rules, especially if the rules changed in the middle of a season when all the domestic elimination competitions have already been played. I am so confused on why the author did this. The only thing I can think of is that they made their own characters so OP that they didn’t know how else to add competition drama into the rest of the story. Honestly it’s just super frustrating.

  13. So I’m guessing this has become more of a competition based on who’s best in the country, instead of which team is best in the country (I hope the previous format doesn’t completely go away though :/)

  14. They might as well have just said that SGH is no longer a team-based game based off these new rules… I’m happy that Chen Wei will be happy regardless of if he plays or is a substitute.

  15. Making up random teams of people who have no chemistry, training time, or team cohesion is going to be a cluster fuck. No one wants to listen to a different team/ enemy team leader over themselves or their own.
