I’m trying to do just one thing by writing this story and it’s to objectively present the personalities and choices of most of the main characters, including Si Ze, Xu Jing, Song Puxin, Su Jing, etc. In my heart, these characters are real people.
I won’t spoil for now whether Xu Jing will leave Little Fish. But even if he does, it doesn’t mean that he’s a “villain” or that he’s “blackened”. He’s just abiding by his stand and making his own decision. Whether his choice is good or bad will be up for each person’s interpretation.
Only Teacher Fu and Little Fish represent what I think is the “right” side in this story. Under this story, they will be rewarded for this.
Some people say that Little Fish is too idealistic, even a little bit of a “Holy Mother”, that reality isn’t like this.
