I Rely on Wilderness Survival Live Broadcast to become Popular Across the StarsCh36.1 - The thirty sixth day of hoarding money to raise the cub (1)

(Two in one) Good-looking, handsome, better looking than Pan An, the kind who can throw fruit into a cart. QhpVlZ

One liter of water in the military canteen was not even enough to drink for half a day in the desert.

As Lu Liran walked, he looked for places where he might be able to get water.

“In the desert, you can live for three weeks without food, but if you lack water, you may not be able to survive for 24 hours. So don’t miss any opportunity to get water.”

6a2x9

He spoke as he went over the sand dunes, and his vision suddenly widened.

Lu Liran’s eyes lit up and his pace quickened.

Surviving in the desert, as long as he knew where to find water, he could survive, and he was obviously good at it.

Lu Liran has found his target, which is a huge rock pile with a height of four to five meters. 1uLsGw

When he saw this pile of rocks from a distance, Lu Liran had some guesses in his heart. According to his many years of experience, there should have been a river flowing here, but for some reason, the river bed is so dry that it has cracked.

When he got closer, the rock pile in front of him was not just an ordinary rock.

The rock pile is still the same rock pile, but in Lu Liran’s eyes, a geological curve suddenly appeared, drawing the direction of the river for him. The river course, which could only be discerned vaguely by rocks, suddenly became very clear. 3CbfcT

Lu Liran was obviously taken aback, and didn’t realize what was going on for a while.

He raised his eyes again to look elsewhere, but no such similar situation appeared.

The system that hadn’t made a sound for a long time bubbled up after detecting the host’s doubts, and carefully explained: “This is the primary field detection skill acquired by the host before. When you approach the target within one meter, the system will automatically identify the needs of the host, and then display it visually, which is only visible to the host.”

——Actually, the original primary skills were not that easy to use, but the system had pissed off Lu Liran once before, and was afraid that his host would give up the burden and quit, so it tried its best to make money for others. Jak1dD

After the system finished speaking, it fell silent obediently, and it secretly decided to show its presence only when giving sweet rewards to the host, trying to make the host forget the threats it had made.

After hearing this, Lu Liran understood, it turned out that the primary detection skills were triggered and used in this way.

Although he didn’t see much use for it so far, at most it proved that his judgment was correct, but he was very sure that such a detection skill would definitely come in handy in the future, greatly improving his survival rate. toD lP

“Look here, the surface of the ground is full of cracks, uneven, and the rocks on both sides are relatively smooth, obviously this was the result of being washed out by water over the years.” Lu Liran summoned the drone camera ball and pointed it to the audience in the live broadcast room.

With the images taken under the camera ball, Lu Liran’s commentary was much easier to understand.

What was shown in the live broadcast room was a pile of rocks of different heights, and the ground at the bottom of the rock pile was covered with cracks. This piece of land was relatively low, and the front and back were impact rocks with a slope, seemingly surrounding the place. JkQrx0

“This should be a dry riverbed, and the place where I’m standing should once have been a pool of water.” Lu Liran gave his conclusion.

He opened his palm and stuck it on a four to five meter high rock behind him, then narrowed his eyes slightly, and said quickly: “The rocks on this side of the sun are cool to the touch, even a little wet. If you look at the color of the sand near it, it is darker than the outer circle. These all mean that there may be water underneath.”

After he finished speaking, he got down on the ground and quickly dug the soil out with both hands. The gravel that turns out becomes moist and sticky, and can even be shaped with a pinch.

[!!! Holy shit! I can’t believe it’s really working!!] XoVQYk

[Why is there still water when the riverbed is dry? This is unscientific??]

[Aren’t you stupid? Since the riverbed is dry, there is always water under it. Maybe it turned into an underground river. Its too deep, Brother Lu can’t dig the underground river, so he only manage to dug out some wet sands]

[Brother Lu, come on and dig!! Fill the jug!!]

When Lu Liran saw the moist, dark sand, he was overjoyed and doubled his digging speed. However, after digging down to a depth of more than ten centimeters, the sand was still wet, but no water overflowed from the pit. LFsZJS

Lu Liran was a little disappointed when he saw this, but it was not surprising, so stopped digging sand.

“It seems that there will be no water here.” Lu Liran said to the camera, “Someone has already mentioned that there may be an underground river flowing through here, but underground river is often more than ten meters deep, and it is impossible to dig it out by manpower alone, and it is not necessary.”

[Ah, so it took so much effort to dig the soil just now, was it for nothing?]

[Slight loss ah…] uLD8w

[Brother Lu, don’t cry, get up and stand up!]

Lu Liran didn’t think it was a waste of effort, he took off his quick-drying clothes, dug up some balls of wet sand and wrapped them in the quick-drying clothes. The quick-dying clothes wrapped the balls of sand, compressing them into a small ball. He exerted force with his hands, twisting the clothes and sand ball together like twisting a towel.

Story translated by Chrysanthemum Garden.

Moisture seeps out from the surface of the quick-drying clothes visible to the naked eye  and slowly condenses into water droplets at the bottom.

In order to let the audience in the live broadcast room see more clearly, he deliberately waited for the water to condense into water droplets, and only opened his mouth to catch them when they were about to fall. tyeOd7

“It’s not much, but it’s better than nothing. It’s also good for moistening your throat and lips.” Lu Liran said. After demonstrating to the live broadcast that he could indeed get the water droplets, he then sucked it up with a big gulp directly against his clothes.

“Don’t underestimate this kind of water replenishment. In the desert, any replenishment is the key to survival.”

After he finished speaking, he shook off the useless sand, and in the same way twisted a few balls of moist sand to moisten his mouth and throat. After the dryness and astringency in his mouth disappeared, he got up and continued to set off.

He must find a suitable place to sleep before the temperature drops unbearably, otherwise his first night in Salba Desert will become extremely difficult. RG4omN

The sun hangs high above the Salba Desert. Even though it was already seven o’clock in the evening, the sun has no intention of setting.

“In Salba Desert, sunshine takes up three-quarters of the day. There are still about two hours before the sun sets, and the temperature will be much cooler after sunset. As long as you can overcome your fear of dark and cold environments, this time is a good choice for traveling.” Lu Liran said. The implication was that he planned to take a night trip.

The temperature at night doesn’t drop below zero just after sunset, so he can go a little further.

[Eh! But I remember that Brother Lu never walked at night before, didn’t he say that the wild at night is more dangerous?] bk9h1

[Wow, so Brother Lu will be broadcasting live all night today?!]

[Wonderful!]

“Taking the road at night is a last resort, it depends on the situation.” Lu Liran glanced at the live broadcast room, he paused then he replied: “If I’m in a place like a swamp or a jungle, I wouldn’t choose to walk at night no matter what.”

“But in Salba, first of all, there are very few living creatures here, and even if there are, most of them will avoid me. Second, scorching heat is more terrifying and more threatening than nocturnal creatures. On balance, it is more advantageous to take the night route instead.” Qp6JqC

Lu Liran did not choose to try the night road purely for the sake of traveling, all the routes were decided after his careful consideration, and he would not easily change them.

In fact, if one dares to walk at night in the desert, and also has the ability to break into the night, one can at least triple the chances of survival.

Lu Liran’s temporary target location was the top of the tree he had seen on the dunes earlier, which he estimated to be a fragrant palm tree.

Fragrant palm trees are drought-tolerant and can generally grow to a height of 20 meters. Judging from the distance, the height of the trees that can still be vaguely seen from such a distance is definitely not low, and in the desert,  only the fragrant palm tree has the highest probability. poP82u

If it’s a fragrant palm tree, then he’ll have his night spot for tonight.

Story translated by Chrysanthemum Garden.

The night fell heavily, first turning the desert into orange red, then rendering it a layer of deep purple, and finally turning it into black as thick as ink. 1A2sZz

Everyone in Lu Liran’s live broadcast room saw the fantastic colors of the desert overlapping and changing, like a kaleidoscope blooming in front of their eyes, it was incredibly beautiful.

[Is this actually a view I can see for free?!]

[This is much more beautiful than the second-generation rich wilderness anchor next door! This is the most shocking beauty of nature in the wild!]

[It’s so fast, from sunset to night, it feels like a blink of an eye] a4GJe7

“The temperature at this moment is at least 30 degrees lower than during the day.” Lu Liran exhaled comfortably, and put on his coat, “In the desert plain during the day, the temperature can be as high as 52 degrees Celsius, but in the second half of the night, the temperature in the mountains will drop to minus 20 degrees Celsius, as if you’re in the Arlok Glacier.”

“So when we get to our destination, the first thing I’m going to do is make a fire. A campfire can not only keep out the cold, but also drive away the surrounding beasts and insects and scorpions, which is a necessity for spending the night in the wild.”

The camera ball automatically adjusted to night mode. Lu Liran stepped on the sand under his feet deliberately, causing sand and stones to fly out from the side of his shoes.

“When walking at night, you can make the movement louder, so as to scare off the snakes and scorpions that may be hiding under the sand or in the crevices of rocks.” Lu Liran explained, “But also pay attention, don’t step on others directly.” srMdYn

As he spoke, he didn’t go far when he stopped suddenly and tensed his back.

The camera ball paused at the same time, hovering quietly in mid-air, with the camera facing Lu Liran’s face.

The audience in the live broadcast room saw that Lu Liran suddenly stopped. In the night vision mode, his whole face was glowing green and white, and his eyes glow even more, which looks very weird.

[Fuck, suddenly from a wilderness live broadcast to a live broadcast of supernatural horror!!] nR2DoM

[Why did Brother Lu stop suddenly? So quiet and motionless, it’s quite scary…]

[It’s the middle of the night! Help me block the screen with one hand, I dare not look but I can not quit!]

[Brother Lu ahhhhhhhh, please move, I’m so panicked]

There were a lot of screams in the barrage, mainly because of the strange atmosphere and the late night time slot. Once a comment develops in the direction of supernatural horror, it immediately leads everyone in the live broadcast room astray. vEneXV

Lu Liran spoke at this time, and he lowered his voice in a hasty tone: “Look, it’s about five meters obliquely in front of me. It was a two-horned Kuilong snake, characterized by yellow and white stripes. There are two protrusions like sharp horns on the top of its triangular head, and its snake eyes are as red as blood.”

“This snake is one of the three most venomous snakes in the desert. One milligram of venom is enough to kill an adult. It is very dangerous.”

Chrysanthemum Garden.

[Damn it, Brother Lu said that the probability of encountering living things in the desert is not high!!?]

[It turned out to be an S-class dangerous creature?! And its in the middle of the night!] K8 xtj

[Brother Lu is so lucky…]

[Brother Lu, run!]

“You can’t run.” Lu Liran whispered, “Its speed in the sand is three times faster than the fastest running speed of a human being. Once you turn around and run away, revealing your back and showing weakness, it will attack immediately.”

“However, the two-horned Kuilong snake is a hard-to-find item in the bounty list. It is not common, and it is even rarer to appear in front of humans.” Lu Liran changed the subject. fLbqwG

Since it took the initiative to appear in front of him, it makes no sense not to accept this gift of nature.

[Ah? Wait, Brother Lu wants to fight back!?]

[Snake: Fuck my carelessness]

[The anchor wants to fight the snake at night, is it a bit too floating, beware of delivering first blood] GJju5P

[Brother Lu, be careful! Although the statement upstairs is not very pleasant, it makes sense (?) Why don’t we do it during the day]

[Laughing, will this snake obediently wait until daytime? Bounty hunter themselves is a high-risk occupation, and the risk and reward are in the same proportion, okay]

[Don’t worry about it, the anchor may just be happy to find a treasure]

Lu Liran really lamented that he was lucky. On the first night in the desert, he bumped into a two horned Kuilong snake, a top ten on the purchase list. qXBYkw

The two horned Kuilong snake is not big, only the diameter of a coin, and its body length is less than one meter. The branch Lu Liran used to explore the way was thick enough to be used as a stick to tease and control snakes.

While staring at his prey, he still had the energy to explain to the live broadcast room: “If the two horned Kuilong snake can be stripped intact of the venom glands and fangs it uses to secrete venom, its at least twice as expensive as buying them individually, and many ocean hunters will buy these things to catch the big guys in the ocean.”

The vast Desolate Star sea area is a dividing range for bounty hunters, and the top three most dangerous places in the Desolate Star ten No man’s land are all different sea areas.

Lu Liran hasn’t been to those places yet. It’s not because he doesn’t dare, but it’s because he doesn’t have the money. If one wants to become an ocean hunter, one must first have a ship that can withstand the rough seas, and a good ship is at least hundreds of thousands of star coins. kBm8UH

Sunnyshies: Speaking off desert and lost ancient civilization–umm, this is trivia!…do you know that the Lost City of Atlantis—there were many conspiracy theorists who believed that it wasn’t in the Atlantic Ocean but in the Sahara desert instead…

Look at this…this is the eye of the Sahara, and it has the same three circular structure as describe in Plato’s works…more over, it was discovered that in between those circles, there were salt deposited in them, which proved that they’re under sea water before. More so, the whole Sahara Desert has flood marks all over place, meaning it was devastated by a huge flood before.

Please visit chrysanthemumgarden (dot) com

Also, do you know that the Great Flood depicted on the Bible, wasn’t only written in there…many ancient text from different ancient civilization from around the world also told about a story of a Great Flood. Which means it really happened.

That it…hahaha, I’ve been fascinated with documentary stories about Ancient Civilization. Just sharing…

潘安 – /Pān ān/ VgzamP

From ancient times to the present, people always use the phrase “Yushu Linfeng beats Pan’an” to describe a man’s good looks.

Pan An is well known as one of the four most beautiful men in ancient times, so it can be seen that his appearance is very handsome.

  1. Wowoww that seems cool so that also means that huge chunks of lands moved around and water flowed away and towards others too possibly creating new seas and dry lands. Hehehe reminds me a little about the show “crooks”, the animated one on how they ran from “end of the world” but really it was just huge chunks of land moving and collapsing.

    Thanks for the update!!

  2. Omg idk why but I was thinking that it was completed lol now I’m crying ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ

  3. Like translator i like reading about ancient civilizations It’s filled with a lot of wonders and i also love there legends because i always think that the legends have some truth in it .. Thank u for the chapter 🤍

  4. So many beautiful photos here :3 It’s enough to see them on pictures xD (But that night view is the best with all the stars in the sky :3 cries in I’m living in a city and see no stars

Thx for the ch and the interesting extra information (ㅅ˘ㅂ˘)

  5. lol when my aunt found out I’d watched Ancient Apocalypse she had me watch Miniminuteman’s videos on youtube that give a really comprehensive analysis of the series.

Not only is the guy funny but he also knows what he’s talking about.

Also I was so stoked when I first found out Atlantis was actually a real place. I’d always thought it was just fiction.

If you don’t know here’s a basic summary of how that happened.

Plato’s Critias says he heard the story of Atlantis from his grandfather, who had heard it from the Athenian statesman Solon (300 years before Plato’s time), who had learned it from an Egyptian priest, who said it had happened 9,000 years before that. Then he used it in his play.

So back when Egypt was still young there was a place called Atlantis then it got fcked over by earthquake/s and doesn’t exist anymore.

It sucks that Plato’s writings are our only record of it left.

Personally I don’t think there’s anything left of Atlantis to find.

    • Even just reading the title ‘Ancient Apocalypse’ sets my teeth on edge. Not a single person this idiot features on his ‘show’ has a single qualification in the field they claim to be experts in and every claim he makes easily can and has been disproven.

      • I feel the need to point out that what you’ve said isn’t entirely true although you may not know it.

I haven’t personally checked all of them but I know for a fact that some of the experts that he interviewed are in fact experts who do have relevant qualifications, do have many years of experience in their field and are well respected by their professional peers.

A perfect example of this is Dr. Geoff McCafferty. Who by the way is a seriously cool dude.

I know this because of the interview he did with Milo for the video ‘I Watched Ancient Apocalypse So You Don’t Have To (Part 1)’ which was just such an amazing interview that I can’t help but gush about it. It was awesome. Here’s the link, I highly recommend watching it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iCIZQX9i1A

Anyway in this interview Dr. McCafferty states very clearly that the interview he did with Graham Hancock was heavily edited to fit with the story that Hancock and the creators wanted.

It’s the same as being on a reality tv show where everything you do or say can and will be twisted to suit the narrative that the creators want instead of the truth.

He says that when Netflix approached him for the interview they omitted the fact that Hancock would be involved in any way, shape or form. He only found out when he got there. Although he does say he would have still agreed to it just to be able to speak about his work and get the public interested in the fascinating history and research he works on. He’s such an awesome guy I can’t even.

Dr. McCafferty also says that he’s spoken with some others that Hancock interviewed and they say the same thing happened to them. That their words were grossly twisted for what Hancock and the creators wanted.

So when you slam the experts that Hancock interviewed like this, it sets my teeth on edge just a bit on their behalf since you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about.

And no, I do not miss the irony of a man named Milo debunking Atlantis XD

    • Oof this is embarassing and I can’t delete or edit my comment so I’m just gonna fact check myself here. When I wrote it I was up past midnight running on coffee and must have had a brain fart 😬 (-///-).

First, Plato’s Critias was a dialogue not a play and second, there is absolutely no evidence to support or debunk whether or not the story of Plato receiving this information is true or if he just made it up for his dialogue as part of his analogy.

Plato’s Critias is literally our only source of information on Atlantis and that’s only if you take his story at least partly literally. And it isn’t even a primary source. I’m not sure if it can be considered a secondary source or a tertiary one. Especially since it’s being used by a philosopher for an analogy.

Which is a point that needs to be made clear. Plato was a philosopher. He basically wrote fiction, so as far logic and reason goes it is highly unlikely that even just the name Atlantis is real.

The reason I got so passionate about Atlantis being ‘real’ is because I want to believe it because the story’s just so entertaining and cool to me.

Also there is precedence for ancient lost civilisations. The bronze age Minoan civilisation is a wonderful example. It was wiped out by a volcanic eruption on the island Crete and was only excavated in the 1900s. The name Minoan was given by a British archaeologist after the the king Minos from Greek legend. Although Apparently it’s mentioned in Egyptian archives with a place name.

Stories like this are really awe inspiring for me and it’s hard to resist wanting to believe in them.

So unless someone can build a time machine and go back to have a little chat with Plato to confirm or deny Atlantis’ story and then go even further back and talk with the Egyptian scholars then go even further back and search the location of Atlantis, interviewing sailors and tradesmen of the time, I’d like to continue believing.

I still stand by what I said about there not being anything left to find.

Also also, I just want to point out that any debate you hear on whether Atlantis is real or not, is almost certainly, entirely opinion based.

  6. The Sahara has a river flood plain up until it dried up less than 10,000 years ago. Cave paintings of hippos and other savanna and wetland animals have been found.

Also, anyone from modern times who thinks the Eye of the Sahara is Atlantis must not have done any research on the place. It was mostly formed through volcanic activity over 100 million years ago. The earliest part of the formation of the Eye began during the break-up of the supercontinent Pangaea, which caused the area to be inundated by the sea, which explains any deposits of rock salt. So yeah. Completely natural formation.

  7. I also believe there are cities we haven’t found yet. I like the mystery, finding them always seems like a way to get cursed. 🐍

  8. Translator-sama and everyone in the comments talking about the coolest things about Sahara and here me just patiently waiting for Ke Meiran😅
