  4. I KNEW IT WAS ERIC!!! Hope I don’t offend anyone, but the actor did not measure up to the image I had from the stories 🤤. Did I say “had” lol clearly still there along with “a battle cry that hadn’t been heard in a thousand years” or something like that, it’s been a long time.

    Zhou Xiwei claiming that birthday like it’s such an improvement 😂😂. Honestly, age difference has suddenly become a bigger issue right when I thought we’d all accepted that people mature at different rates under different circumstances. I don’t see the problem unless it’s a predatory situation, and those can happen at any age. Sorry, I’m all thinky tonight 🤷

    • That whole series feels like a fever dream looking back on it. The increasing number of hunks, the politics, the ‘who is the final guy’ — …the reveal of who ‘won’ at the end that (at least everyone I know felt was) deeply underwhelming??? As someone that was very much for Eric, I’m still in denial and haven’t read the last book after having it spoiled, haha.

      I gave up the show around when Bill was running after his creator– one too many times my roommate had walked in on an inopportune time and I decided it wasn’t worth continuing through the embarrassment + already knowing what would happen through the books. All that being said, it was definitely a good series for working out what kind of broody you liked. An entire buffet of Mr. Supernatural 20XX (with a side of Supe Queens like Pam).

      • It was the same for me! With the addition of wishing everyone had a gran who taught them a million polite ways to say No lol. I wish I had not read the last book. I do think the completely uninhibited… affection the fae guys displayed planted a seed, and I would totally return for Eric’s bi-awakening if they were involved 😂

    And I absolutely support not giving a cow pile if one partner is technically however years older, considering. They’re all consenting adults, that’s what matters. 😂
