I had been dreading this one – no matter how it played out, it was going to be horrible. For as long as I can remember, I have been more devastated by the “Don’t leave me here” perspective than the “I don’t want to go” side of dying, and it has been clear that Shan Yutian was destroyed to the point of reversing the natural order. A lover of the BL genre is obviously partial to boys, and the suffering of a little one is especially tragic. I’m glad it’s done though and we can all see that making Shan Haoyu happy and strong has been good for everyone.
I’m sending my well wishing hug to the boys just in case Uto is somewhere out there.
