  5. So, thank you for the warning about the chapter. I have been thoroughly enjoying this novel. However, I found it difficult to get through the last chapter. Usually, I reread the previous chapter on Sunday morning before I read the new chapter to make sure I haven’t forgotten something. I could not do that this morning. The entire last chapter read to me like a sexual assault scene or a long preparation for a rape. I’m just not into any of that, and I despise stories that include rape but then make it all OK because the person raped really “Wanted it.“ I really really hope this story is not going in that direction, because I really don’t want to stop reading it now. Especially since there are so many interesting Loose Ends to be tied up.

    All that said, thank you for the translations I think they’re really well done and not only convey the plot but many of the subtle emotions and relationships between characters. That cannot be easy. But you continuously succeed. So thanks again, and I’ll just be waiting for next week!

    • I just want to say I agree with you. You’re not the only one who feel that way. I thought it was sexy how Gong Wei was the one who tried to initiate things in the previous chapter (ch 61) however it’s clear in this chapter that he had no idea how dual cultivation works. He was truly felt like a child being assaulted in the name of love. I also didn’t expect the author was going to do it this way. But I will see soon how the next chapter goes, just hope author can make me less dissapointed.

  7. I really don’t know what to feel about this chapter, but I’m sure I don’t like XST actions in this chapter.
