  3. Fun fact: a ferret’s natural enemy (prey) are snakes (and rodents). They can not tolerate anything that smells or resembles them, and will attack until the offending prey or item is dead. (Think Rikki Tikki Tavi – ferrets are related to mongoose and have a shared hatred for snakes. You cannot keep pet snakes and ferrets in the same house because ferrets can and will break into their aquarium and try to murder them. If the snake is not large, they will succeed.)

    Even though it is an assumed animal kinship, you could say I-IV (snake) and Wei (ferret) hatred is even more fated.

    I still feel bad for the fox he couldn’t be a b.e.w. (Black eyed white) ferret and keep his sacred white fur. I understand Wei wanted him to match his current color scheme though – sable ferret with white stripe vs brunette with white stripe. Still, would have been cute to picture a matching bew ferret and snow leopard. The ferret would have camo!
