Generally, it is divided into two parts: “bestowing a name” and “bribing the heavenly officials for the child to have a long life”. The day after the mother gives birth, the father of the child will bring a chicken to the parents-in-law’s house to announce the good news. If they gave birth to a boy, they will bring a rooster, and if it’s a girl, a hen will be brought. The grandmother of the child has to select an auspicious day between the third day to the seventh day after the child was born to hold the “beating three dynasties” ceremony.
