Who knew, Mu Feibai seemed to focus on the wrong thing, “So you only looked for me because I’m the captain?”

There was silence behind him.

He didn’t feel secure in the air and subconsciously gripped the wall to steady himself. It was unknown whether his voice trembled with fear or anticipation, “No… put me down…”
Qiu Yu felt a sharp pain where the skin at the back of his neck was pierced, and he instantly lost his voice.
The intense and burning scent of ginger wrapped itself around him and a sore current of heat traveled from the back of his neck to each of his limbs, setting alight every cell in his body. Every pore relaxed, and every inch of his bones melted into puddles.
This sensation accompanied the racing of his heart, Qiu Yu could no longer hold back the whine in his throat.
The shackle-like arms around his waist tightened and Qiu Yu was almost submerged in the burning scent of ginger.
Qiu Yu threw his head back, his neck taut. He let go of the wall and plunged his hands into Mu Feibai’s hair behind him. His breaths stumbled over each other and he could no longer control his voice—he still… wanted more…
In the sweet haze of coconut, Mu Feibai fought to resist the temptation of going any further. Trembling, his jaw loosened. Almost piously, he kissed the patch of skin smeared with blood.
The body in his arms was burning hot. He used up almost all of his self-control before he finally suppressed the yearning in his heart and withdrew his pheromones, gently placing Qiu Yu on the ground.

I love this chapter…Mu Feibai is trying so hard and being so patient. Hopefully this will be a turning point for Qiu Yu to start noticing our greenest flag ML and how he feels. I also love how this is really showing how much of a struggle going from a normal human to an omega is for Qiu Yu.
