Then, there was a rustle as the leaves on the bushes moved. Soon, the head of a tiger appeared and even An Yi, couldn’t help jumping backwards. As for the guard, his knees went weak that he had to lean on his spear as a support to prevent himself from falling to the ground.
The tiger’s eyes went from the guard to An Yi before resting on Lin Xiao’s figure. An Yi couldn’t understand it but it seems that he could sense that the tiger appeared to be delighted when it saw Lin Xiao.

An Yi turned to face Lin Xiao, only to see him looking with a rogue smile on his face. ‘Is he looking forward to see me afraid?’ An Yi couldn’t help wondering. Fortunately, he was able to save his face. Other than the initial surprise, An Yi was not afraid of the tiger. In fact, he had long known of the existence of the three tigers. After all, he was the one who helped keep an eye on Lin Xiao for the Emperor.

A chuckle left Lin Xiao’s lips and he gave Wang Zan two hard pat on the back before pulling away. “Let’s go and meet Shizun. I didn’t get to see him for the whole day. He must be worried…”
As Lin Xiao said this, his eyes lowered to the ground. In his mind, within this whole city, only Long Yinlian would be worried for him and not some other person.
