Transmigrated as the Villain's CatCh42 - Fu Xiao’s Kindness

Sunnyshies: Thank you for the kofi KyleenJones!!

Scum Zhang goes offline aYA1zi

When Fu Xiao left Rong Hang, he did not go home directly, but went to the company. Little Sugar Cake raised his head, and his round eyes looked at Fu Xiao suspiciously.

Story translated by Chrysanthemum Garden.

“There is one more thing to solve.” Fu Xiao patted his head, as if remembering something, his eyes were cold and said: “After all, you can’t be bullied by any cat or dog.”

The results of the fire investigation have come out. uUc1jE

It’s time to settle the score.

Fu Xiao closed the screen of his mobile phone, thinking of the news he had just received. It’s time for him to rush back to the company now.

As soon as they arrived at the door of the company.

gGxA8L

Little Sugar Cake jumped down first and stretched.

Then a familiar voice came to his ears.

This voice?

Little Sugar Cake’s eyes looked solemn, and jumped in the direction from which the voice came. LpX1uy

The voice came from over there——

“Hey, hey, Xiao Fang, it’s fine if you don’t want see me, but it’s not right for you to not let me Xiao You see me. Xiao You is my daughter.” Father Zhang’s shameless voice sounded.

Little Sugar Cake didn’t even need to run a few steps when he saw Father Zhang standing behind Secretary Zhang and his sister.

His sister was carrying a heat preservation box apparently to give Secretary Zhang food. QbF5Z3

She was being protected by Secretary Zhang at this time.

The people around have gathered around and pointed at Secretary Zhang, these two siblings.

Secretary Zhang looked at Father Zhang very annoyed, just like looking at a mass of garbage stuck to his body.

Little Sugar Cake rushed over from the side, blocking in front of Secretary Zhang. uE1PSb

This kind of scum, leave it, let him come!

Father Zhang was stunned for a moment and when saw Little Sugar Cake, he couldn’t help but take a few steps back. He forced himself to calm down and took a step forward: “Xiao Fang, I didn’t want to embarrass you.”

The last time he was beaten by this cat, he still feels a dull pain till now.

God knows what this cat grew up eating, it’s painful to fight it. TErSCn

Secretary Zhang was taken aback when he saw Little Sugar Cake.

He immediately thought of something and turned to look in the direction where Little Sugar Cake appeared. Sure enough, Fu Xiao appeared in his sight, and Secretary Zhang’s heart shuddered. He didn’t want to disturb Mr. Fu because of these little things.

Unexpectedly, Mr. Fu still found out.

Fu Xiao’s eyes that were clear as a mirror looked at Secretary Zhang. wBPdZu

Secretary Zhang did not dare to look at Fu Xiao for a moment.

There were more and more people around, probably because Father Zhang looked old, with gray hair and worn-out clothes, while Secretary Zhang’s watch alone was worth several million.

So the crowd was pointing at Secretary Zhang.

Obviously, in their eyes, they were probably convinced that Secretary Zhang was the son of this old father who was who was wicked beyond redemption. rfcyE7

There are some people who work in Xingchen, although they dare not say anything, they despise Secretary Zhang in their hearts.

After all, Secretary Zhang’s reputation in the company has not been very good, and even some vicious people who had a holiday with Secretary Zhang regarded Secretary Zhang as a dog under Fu Xiao’s hands.

It’s all because of how happy he is to please Fu Xiao that he has his status today.

This kind of person, it was not surprising for such a person to abandon his father. Ui5NfI

His mother told him that all girls’ tears are very precious, and boys should protect girls from crying.

Chrysanthemum Garden.

Little Sugar Cake stretched out his paws towards Father Zhang, then snarled at him deeply, and approached him step by step.

Such a shameless man and what nonsense is he talking about, just beat him and run, ah. Zg0H3I

Anyway, he is Fu Xiao’s cat.

Come and get him if he can, ah.

As for the cute and soft image he worked so hard to create——

Ai! I2aLRl

Secretary Zhang owes him a hundred small dried fish!

The white cat has a fluffy tail and fluffy snow-white long fur, which makes the cat look extraordinarily large. Under its thick collar fur, its pace was vigorous, with a few traces of beast-like majesty.

Father Zhang felt the threat of Little Sugar Cake, and took a few steps back in fear. He leaned on the railing next to him with soft feet, and said tremblingly: “Don’t come here.”

But it was too late for Little Sugar Cake to make any other moves. 5uEK7U

Fu Xiao appeared and picked him up with a hug.

Little Sugar Cake was struggling to jump out of Fu Xiao’s arms.

Fu Xiao lowered his head and said in a low voice: “You don’t care about your fur on the other side anymore?”

Little Sugar Cake squatted obediently in Fu Xiao’s arms in an instant. hlWtjo

Seeing this, Father Zhang breathed a sigh of relief, then a trace of resentment flashed in his eyes, but it was not obvious on his face. With his gray hair, he said angrily to the crowd: “Is this still fair? Xiao Fang, you don’t want me as a father, it doesn’t matter, but why don’t you let Xiao You come back? Xiao You is my daughter. From childhood, I just let you go, but you keep talking ill of me to her, so why did you stop her from getting close to me?”

Secretary Zhang almost laughed, this man did all those things, and now he has the nerve to say this?

But Secretary Zhang was so aggressive.

He couldn’t let him speak about the unpleasant memories of those years in front of so many people. rKFfIA

Father Zhang also bites at this point, so he was unscrupulous.

Secretary Zhang plans to force the security to drive him away as before, and then find someone to teach him a lesson.

Who knew that Fu Wei appeared at this time.

Fu Wei didn’t want to worry about this. ENCxOd

But the grey and pitiful look of the old man really stung his heart.

Father used to be a very important word in his heart, affecting him throughout his teenage years.

What’s more, he is also a member of the company now. Now that the Internet is so developed, Secretary Zhang’s behavior has a very bad social impact. If the public finds out, it will not be good for their company’s image.

And his elder brother Fu Xiao seemed to be on the side of Secretary Zhang and didn’t want to take care of it. iIGWVz

Fu Wei felt that he had no way to ignore it for this reason.

He stood up and thought about it and said: “Secretary Zhang, no matter what happened in the past, you should give Uncle a chance now. Sit down and have a good talk, and give each other a chance to communicate.”

Fu Wei is not stupid either, he also did not want to lose his elder brother’s face, and he felt that what he said was very reasonable. He didn’t ask Secretary Zhang to make any concessions, but just sat down and talked.

No matter what, it looks better than standing here in a stalemate. ZRfws

Father Zhang’s eyes crept and he said: “Yes, Xiao Fang, we should have a good talk. There are too many misunderstandings between us.”

But Fu Wei obviously didn’t think that he belonged to the unimportant people in Secretary Zhang’s eyes. Secretary Zhang was not happy at first, and said directly: “What to talk about? We don’t need the second young master to take care of our family affairs. The second young master might as well take care of the projects in his hands first. You use more snacks, didn’t you ask for a leave twice in three days, we can also work less overtime in the secretary department.” lwusKh

Embarrassment flashed in Fu Wei’s eyes. These days, in order to see Jiaming, he did ask for more time off.

He couldn’t help but look at Fu Xiao.

He also knew a little about the relationship between the eldest brother and Jiaming. But Jiaming doesn’t like his eldest brother at all, not to mention that eldest brother doesn’t seem to like Jiaming much. Although he is a little sorry for his elder brother, he will compensate his eldest brother well in the future.

Thinking of this, Fu Wei felt relieved, and he continued to persuade Secretary Zhang: “No matter what, he is your father. Your sister is still so young, isn’t it good to give her a complete home?” T8kuhz

Secretary Zhang sneered: “If I could choose, I wouldn’t want to be his son.”

Father Zhang wiped his eyes with his hand, as if wiping away tears: “I know you don’t like me, you think I have no ability, but Xiao You is not an adult yet. By rights I should be her guardian, and I want you to give her back to me.”

Even with that money losing good in his hand, he’s still afraid that the little bastard won’t give in.

He said it pitifully, and everyone couldn’t help but look at Secretary Zhang and whispered in their mouth. vc7TZP

“I didn’t expect Secretary Zhang to be such a person. I don’t think my mother is ugly. Why is he like this, ah?

“What’s so strange about this? He has always looked down on others in the company. It’s strange if he doesn’t.”

“Wow, it’s really too much, too shameless, ah.”

“If my son is like this in the future, I would rather kill him.” IKShUk

Fu Wei couldn’t help but say: “Secretary Zhang, how can you do this? Do you know that you are breaking the law? If you are obsessed, then we will ask the police to deal with this matter.”

Fu Xiao, who had been silent, looked at Father Zhang and shook his head: “I’ve always been curious about how shameless a person can be.”

Human nature can always surprise him, and the lower limit is sometimes terrifyingly low.

Father Zhang was stunned for a moment and then said angrily: “What are you talking about?” auG1vd

Fu Xiao held Little Sugar Cake and said coldly: “I am saying how shameless you are.”

Fu Wei moved his lips and couldn’t help but said: “Brother, how can you say that.” Even if he was protecting Secretary Zhang, he shouldn’t be like this, right?

Father Zhang rolled his eyes and pulled his hand away, revealing the scar on his hand that was scratched by the cat, as if he had inadvertently shown it in front of everyone. The old man hunched his back and said: “I’m just a little guy. I don’t know how I offended you, Mr. Fu. Just let your cat bite me. Why are you insulting me like this?”

Everyone couldn’t help but look at Fu Xiao, but because of Fu Xiao’s majesty, they didn’t dare to say anything. YpqePi

Fu Wei knew that Little Sugar Cake was fierce, but he couldn’t believe that his elder brother would do such a thing. He stiffly explained: “There must be a misunderstanding, right brother.”

This scum who reverses black and white, Little Sugar Cake is itching with anger.

Fu Xiao soothingly touched Little Sugar Cake, and said indifferently: “En, Little Sugar Cake scratched him, but Little Sugar Cake should have scratched him a little more heavily.”

Everyone looked at Fu Xiao in shock. C7Fsrn

Even Secretary Zhang couldn’t help but look over.

Fu Xiao paused for a moment and said with a bit of irony in his voice: “If it scratches you a little harder, at least you won’t be able to set fire on the set, right?”

Story translated by Chrysanthemum Garden.

This sentence is shocking.

Father Zhang said in a conditioned reflex: “No, you are framing me.” 4 7mqL

After he finished speaking, he seemed to think that this was the case, and he straightened his waist as if he was strong on the outside but weak in reality and said: “I didn’t. You fabricated the evidence to frame me.”

Fu Wei looked suspiciously, and looked at them back and forth.

Father Zhang was still there arguing and defending. W5tdcZ

At this time, Xiao You finally couldn’t bear it anymore. She pulled her brother away and held his hand, walked out from behind Secretary Zhang, and scolded Father Zhang: “Just shut up, how dare you come to us.”

The thin girl stood firmly in front of her brother. The girl lifted the bottom of her long skirt a little bit. The girl’s fair calf was densely covered with uneven scars, and everyone felt pain for the girl when they saw it.

The girl said with a sneer at the corner of her mouth: “Why do you have the face to say that you want to rebuild the father-daughter relationship with me? Have you forgotten all these scars? You burned them with cigarette butts one by one.”

Father Zhang suddenly felt guilty. It happened ten years ago, and he couldn’t remember it a little. It seemed that when he lost a lot, he would get really angry a few times on this money losing good, but that was also because this money losing good was not obedient and only knew how to cry. Crying makes him upset, ah. oAqhd3

The girl squeezed her brother’s hand tightly. The painful memories of her childhood were too obvious and deeply imprinted in her memory, and she spat at Father Zhang: “If it weren’t for my gege, our family would have died in the rotten ditch long ago. When I was a child, the two words that I was most afraid of besides father, were drinking and gambling. Besides hitting someone, what else could you do? From childhood to adulthood, we are all your punching bags. You beat up someone whenever you want, if you want to scold, you scold. It’s not easy to have some money at home, and you take all of it to gamble. My mother can’t even struggle, and she only dared to cry after being beaten by you. Only my gege protected us. So you always beat him. He was the age as I am now, and had to go out to work every day. If he hadn’t met Mr. Fu, he would have been ruined for the rest of his life!”

She only hated her father, but she was really sad and angry with her mother.

“Xiao You!” Secretary Zhang didn’t expect his sister to remember those things.

When his sister was seven years old, this scum went to prison. He thought that his sister would gradually forget, so he never mentioned it when she was growing up. That’s why he didn’t tell these things anyway, he was afraid that his sister’s bad memories would come back again. aiVtSy

The girl’s eyes glowed with painful memories. She clenched her brother’s hand and said: “Why didn’t you die in prison? Why are you still living like a scumbag? Didn’t you come to us just for the money? I’m telling you, you’ll never get a penny from us in your life! You don’t force my gege, if worse comes to worst either the fish dies or the net splits!”

“Xiao You!” Secretary Zhang’s voice was a little stern, how could his sister say such a thing?

Everyone looked at Father Zhang and couldn’t believe that the person in front of them was such a scumbag, but the scars on the girl’s body were ironclad evidence. Those scars didn’t look like accidents at all, they were clearly intentional injuries.

Fu Wei was speechless and didn’t know what to say. 9ICD6k

At this time, several policemen came and said to everyone: “Who is Zhang Youde?”

Father Zhang raised his head.

Story translated by Chrysanthemum Garden.

The police walked over and said: “You need to go back with us to investigate because you are suspected of arson. Come with us.”

Now the truth about what’s going on has been revealed. aWQFzZ

That secretary Zhang——

Fu Wei blushed and said to Secretary Zhang: “I——”

Secretary Zhang waved his hand coldly to interrupt: “You don’t need to apologize.”

Fu Wei was stunned. qXsbGe

Secretary Zhang looked at him and said a sentence: “Second Young Master, I know you’re not bad. But your kindness is pale but weak, like a piece of paper.” It stands to reason that Fu Wei, who left home at a young age, lost his protective umbrella prematurely, and his life was not smooth sailing, but Fu Wei always carried a well-protected naivety.

Many people are indeed very kind. They are treated gently by the world from the moment they are born. They have never experienced darkness, and are naturally pure and white like white paper.

But some, however, come from the darkness, but the kindness still remains the same.

This is what Secretary Zhang admires most about Mr. Fu. ySmuDv

He always remembered that many years ago, he was just a doorman in a hotel. When he was forced to take risks by the scumbag’s gambling debts and stole the watch of the unsmiling eldest young master who often came. The boy who didn’t like to talk looked at him with cold yet warm eyes.

Over the years, even if others say that he is just a dog by Mr. Fu’s side, he has never cared.

Fu Xiao’s office. r5BQiP

Fu Xiao handed a document to Secretary Zhang.

Secretary Zhang opened it and was stunned for a moment. It was all evidence of Father Zhang’s crime.

He looked at Fu Xiao in amazement.

Fu Xiao shook his head and said: “I have already prepared these things for you. I was waiting for you to come to me, but I didn’t expect——” He counted the days, and Father Zhang was about to be released from prison. He originally thought that Secretary Zhang would come to him if he couldn’t solve it. But he didn’t expect Secretary Zhang to carry it all the time. 0G5u7S

Secretary Zhang’s eyes moved and said: “Fu——”

Fu Xiao waved his hand and interrupted: “You ah, you. You need to change your temper, don’t carry everything by yourself.”

Secretary Zhang smiled. It’s rare for him to take off his mask for so many years. Like an old friend who has been around for many years, he said: “You shouldn’t either. Don’t do everything for others, but don’t say anything. Sooner or later, you will suffer.”

Fu Xiao smiled, he did those things and never thought about asking for anything. c 2KGR

He looked at Little Sugar Cake.

Those who understand him, naturally understand.

If they don’t understand, what’s the point of him saying it?

Sunnyshies: I literally scream when Fu Wei appears. Not the scream of joy, but a scream with fire coming out of my mouth! Nothing good will happen if Fu Wei appears, he’s a scourge!! He really matches Feng Jiaming so much!! Really perfect match! 85eWBC

I should say, Fu Wei scored 2 points! First for the animal abuse incident, and then now! But he still didn’t learn a thing!

Now you know how Secretary Zhang had an accident in the original story. But what made me wonder, was Feng Jiaming also involved in it? After all, besides Little Sugar Cake, who affected Fu Xiao’s decision, the other characters’ behavior wasn’t affected that much. And Feng Jiaming also conspired with Fu Xiao’s enemies to pull him down.

  1. until now Fu Xiao felt a bit average as a ML (besides for his unusual understanding of cats) and but this chapter made him shoot up the “ML to love” ranking. a good ML isn’t good only to MC, but also has true friends ❤️

    Thanks for the chapter!! ❤️❤️😻

  2. The people who twisting the truth for personal gain are really disgusting, shameless and hatefull…. Love Zhang siblings, they are so brave, especially Xiao Yu ಥ‿ಥ It’s take so much for victims, mostly girls to show their scars with thoughts in mind that everybody will know about them (っ˘̩╭╮˘̩)っ❤️❤️❤️

Thank You for the new chapter (。’▽’。)♡

  3. »Father Zhang was stunned for a moment and when saw Little Sugar Cake..« when he saw

I was just groaning in annoyance as FW made his appearance and also spoke out for that scum. Can’t all those people just shut up and go do their jobs? Why do they always have to poke their noses into places it doesn’t belong? D:

Good thing that I already forgot what FW did in that animal abuse scene :’D

    Thx for the ch ٩(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )و

  4. I really hope Fu Wei and Feng Jiaming can get together since they match perfectly like a lid on a trashcan… Then afterwards, they should disappear into the ocean and never appear again 🙂

Thank you for the update! <3

  5. I don’t feel that Fu Wei and the girl are inherently bad. Just stupid and self-righteous. Just fade into the background already. 🙄

    Thank you

    • I always felt Feng Jiaming was a complete white tea, while Fu Wei was a white lotus… she’s self-righteous and super entitled. Secretary Zheng’s assessment of Fu Wei is pretty spot on…

  6. Hope you don’t mind me pointing this out, but I think you translated 你多用点心 incorrectly.

点心 can mean snacks but usually in this type of context, 你多用点心 would mean ‘be more careful’. 用心 – to be careful/attentive, 多点 – more.

    Thanks for the chapter! <3

    • Ohh, I don’t mind, I don’t mind! This kind of thing would made me think as well!!…but according to baidu, although it was snacks it has two meaning, one is to invite you to eat, and one is to criticize you for doing something wrong…so I’m really confident with this translation. And even if in the context, I don’t think ‘be more attentive/careful’ is too gentle for Secretary Zhang who usually directly criticize people. So I just directly translate it.

      But thanks~

      • Hope I’m not being obnoxious since it’s been a year since this chapter went up, but I wanted to add on to the first commenter’s words (from the perspective of a Chinese speaker) in hopes that it might be helpful in the future. 点 (a bit, a little) in this case is used as a modifier for 心 (literally heart, but more like thoughts or effort in this context). 点心 (one word noun) is not the same as 点心 (two words, adj.-noun) which is ALSO not the same as 点心 (two words, verb-noun). It’s crazy. I don’t think about it much because I grew up speaking Chinese, but I assume that this kind of situation is very confusing for people learning Chinese as a foreign language. It all looks the same on paper!!! Probably some additional confusion comes from the fact that 点心(one word noun) has an etymological origin story that touches elbows with “thoughts,” though I’m pretty sure that 点 in that case is actually functioning as a verb (to touch, to poke)–touching/provoking the hearts of the soldiers to fight well by giving them a taste of the home that they’re missing. However, the difference can typically be discerned through the rhythm of speech, intonation/stress, and of course the all powerful context (though thank god Chinese isn’t as highly context-dependent as Japanese). Without the aural aspect of speech, we can only rely on context to make the distinction. Context would say (even if we ignore the fact that this is a commonly used phrase), that the verb 用 is not used with 点心(one word noun) like this. It sounds very awkward and strange; it may even be considered grammatically strange? But since this is a common phrase, then it’s even more clear contextually that our siscon Secretary is not talking about snacks. It’s basically an idiom–in any case, culturally, telling your boss to pay more attention to his own matters while using the casual “you” is pretty rude and direct already.
  7. it seems to be very common for bystanders to just assume things and take sides without even knowing things, but can you really be so stupid as to assume a young man protecting his sister against a disheveled old man would be in the wrong in this situation? they can’t even read the simple body language??? yet they still judge and take sides immediately. so dumb. fu wei is just like them, i always get secondhand embarrassment from the way he keeps taking sides as if he knows the full context of everything and every time, he’s proven wrong lolol. such a bad judge of character and he still stupidly speaks as if he knows what he’s doing 💀
  8. Sometimes im also scared of trying to mediate but making things worst coz here are two points about fu wei i find relatable: 1. Being biased by the pitiful state of a person (last time it was the bloody deng hui and now the shabby father) 2. Experience bias or prejudice ( he experienced the cat’s fury and also almost set up by a girl who cried wolf, plus sec zhang has a negative rep). But one thing i know i should remind myself from fu wei is AVOID giving pointed accusations or nuanced statements.

  9. Lol that Fu Wei and Fang Jiaming(?) matched each other so well. Both of them only knows how to calculate things but can’t read the atmosphere. They always try the act of heroism or acting to have a divine empathy and sympathy by involving themselves in situations where they thought they’re right and will be more dignified only to make everything worse and fck up in the end (and it will lead them to being slapped by their own stupidity).

  10. fu wei and feng jiaming are really too annoying, meddling in others’ business. they have good intentions maybe, but why are they using their power to meddle? it’s easy to misunderstand, but it’s very irresponsible to talk about something without being a part of it and also not knowing the whole story. it’s disgusting. the other workers as well. just because of their negative bias against secretary zhang, they have the nerve to assume like they know everything and have their say in the situation. it’s intended that feng jiaming and fu wei are dislikeable in this story since they’re the “villains”, but the author has really done a good job at pissing me off through them. 😭
  11. Fu Wei is….indescribable. How a well-protected and sheltered dumpling like Little Sugar Cake has more of a moral compass and understanding of the world than a young adult that’s supposed to have seen some shit after his father abandoned him, I’ll never know. I guess it’s good to read more books and keep learning after all lololol. I’m getting kind of sad thinking that Secretary Zhang was probably murdered by this guy in the original storyline; who knows what happened to his little sister who has already suffered enough….
