What Should I Do if the School Bully is Interested in MeCh91 - Side Story 1 – Fine, I’ll Sell it to You (Gu Ming Ren x Lin Jiang)

It was a hot night and two inseparably close bodies went from the sofa to the bed, from the toilet to the kitchen.

Lin Jiang clenched his teeth firmly, enduring the desperate and repeated crushing of the other person. wPiSK9

He woke up on his bed startled and sat up suddenly, causing the bunk bed to rock violently.

From below came the voice of a rugged man, “What are you doing, bro? I’m drinking soy milk and it spilt all over me!”

Story translated by Chrysanthemum Garden.

It was his roommate, Hao Meng.

Lin Jiang’s head drooped and he said in a dry voice, “I’m sorry.” LV5SXi

Sweat slid down his forehead. A transparent plastic bag of bread was thrown onto the table with a thud, the sound especially loud in the quiet morning. “It can’t be. You’re having nightmares again?”

Hao Meng took two pieces of tissue paper and wiped at his soiled shirt vigorously, then sighed. He’ll have to wash another shirt.

Not that he wanted to say it, but he had never seen a man at this age who had nightmares so often! He didn’t know what kind of evil the boy had encountered to have this happen so frequently. Moreover, every time it happened, he was drenched in sweat from head to toe as if he had just been fished out of the water. If not for the pale face, he would have thought it was an erotic dream!

After removing his shirt to wash it, Hao Meng advised him before going out, “I really think it’s quite creepy. You had better go and seek advice from someone who knows the ropes. Especially for us with a major in the excavation of tombstones, it’s normal for us to experience retaliation from vengeful or malicious spirits. Who asked us to meddle in other people’s things, right?”

Lin Jiang didn’t pay any attention to him, feeling that his roommate’s brain had short-circuited. Not to mention they were only freshmen who hadn’t even attended any of their specialized courses and already he was talking about evil spirits. Terrific.

At first, the pain was very clear, as if it would tear him apart. Later, when a certain point was jabbed, the feel of his climax was more profound. He couldn’t help crying out, but his mouth was covered and he wasn’t allowed to. iqHx9t

Every time, he had been entered from behind, so he couldn’t see the face of the other person. He didn’t know what kind of expression was present when he was being smashed to pieces. Was it ridicule? Or a sneer? After all, he had previously declared shamelessly to him, “I’m straighter than a steel bar. It’s impossible!”

Lin Jiang turned on the tap and washed his face. The once-proud rich second generation was now a destitute bum who sold his body. The amount of time that had passed was only three months.

Three months ago, the second week after the college entrance exams, the police came to their door saying that his father was suspected of illegal money laundering and had to go to the police station for investigation.

At that time, Lin Jiang had just come back from his graduation trip with He Cheng Ming and Ji Liao. He didn’t know anything and didn’t even see his father. When he tried to call, the phone was turned off. Later, he learned from the news that his parents had run away with the money and left the country. Their specific location was unknown. b0kdPf

The Lin family had been barred. Overnight, he was alone and impoverished.

His phone blew up with calls so he simply threw it away and staggered out of the house. After a few days passed in a blur, he met Gu Ming Ren.

Since the last time the boy was rejected by him, he had never bothered him again. This was the first time he stood in front of him again, still wearing his pair of gold-rimmed glasses with a cold, noble appearance towering above him and looking at his incomparably sorry figure.

Lin Jiang used to be able to see a little love or affection from the boy’s eyes. But now, there was nothing there and the depth was scary. bTCQXS

He threw aside the empty beer bottle in his hand and shouted dejectedly like a drunk for him to get lost!

Nevertheless, Gu Ming Ren said lightly, “I was the one who notified your parents, gave them a sum of money and sent them away.” Lin Jiang’s eyes widened and he turned abruptly, grabbing the other boy’s collar. “What did you say?!” The smell of alcohol from his mouth was strong but Gu Ming Ren seemed to be unaware of it and just looked at him expressionlessly.

After a long time, Lin Jiang released him and hung his head in defeat. He muttered to himself, “Good if they left. They don’t have to go to prison.” He squatted down and put his head in his hands, rubbed his face then asked, “Didn’t they say what I should do?” They left with such ease and without a thought for their son.

Gu Ming Ren stepped in front of him and bent over, saying, “Do you need help? I can help you.” LnaNyT

Lin Jiang was silent at first, then laughed and asked with narrowed eyes, “Are you so set on my bottom?” Gu Ming Ren face chilled. “If you don’t, then forget it.”

With that, he turned to leave. Lin Jiang’s mind whirled. Who else could he rely on for help?

His mother’s side basically had only poor relatives who had come to borrow money a few times before. When they refused, the relationship soured. His father had a younger brother who got along quite well with them but he was too far away in the northern part of the country. Now, he didn’t even have the money to take the train.

“Fine, I’ll sell it to you.” wcdaKq

Lin Jiang stood up and walked unsteadily to stand in front of Gu Ming Ren, deliberately letting out a belch to disgust him.

Later, Gu Ming Ren led him to the place he lived at and even let him register for University A’s most neglected major, archaeology. Through means unknown to him, he received the admission notice and became his schoolmate.

For the next two months, he lived with Gu Ming Ren and cut off all contact with everyone else including He Cheng Ming and Ji Liao. Every day, all he did was play games and eat. Gu Ming Ren didn’t touch him or even talk to him much and yet, still transferred money to him regularly.

This kind of life made Lin Jiang flustered. Finally, a week before the semester at University A started, he took the initiative to seduce Gu Ming Ren. Although he was really done in, he felt relieved. He couldn’t accept the other boy’s generosity without good cause so they could only trade with each other. 6xFPys

He didn’t want to owe Gu Ming Ren, not at all.

When Lin Jiang came out from his shower, he got dressed, picked up his books and prepared to go to class.

This time, he had restrained himself somewhat and tried to pay attention in class. But as soon as he started listening, he would feel sleepy and realised that he wasn’t studying material, so he just did as he pleased. In any case, he would be studying blindly.

Hao Meng came back after washing his clothes and seeing that he was about to leave, called out hastily, “Wait for me. Let’s go together!” x4oCfH

University A had very few students majoring in archaeology, with only about ten to twenty students in the whole department. There were four boys, two of whom rented their own place outside, so only he and Hao Meng lived in the dormitory.

Lin Jiang waited for him, then they went to attend their common classes, cultivation of morals and ethics, and legal foundation.

It was held in a large classroom. They went in and found that it was full of people. At a glance, they were all girls.

Hao Meng was very excited. “This is the first time I’m having a class with so many girls! University is great!” V8BuYm

With that, he found a seat and sat there by himself. Lin Jiang thought to himself, he didn’t want to sit with him and yet still made him wait?

His gaze swept around the room and he was about to cross it when the girls suddenly got excited. They suppressed their voices and blinked, looking towards the door. Lin Jiang turned his head, saw Gu Ming Ren and unconsciously clenched his bottom.

  1. to tl notes

Isn’t it better to ask your friend fir help rather than selling your body ?

And i don’t like this selling body route

    • Maybe he felt the only person who could help him was GMR and he knows what GMR wants and doesn’t want to owe him…I don’t know why all characters do this.

    • Sorry, if I’m wrong but I feel like you’re in denial and deciding to pay that way is the only excuse that could be given, for not admitting that it wasn’t so straight

    • All comments are against what happened to the couple.

But for me, I actually like it hahahaha. I mean its so boring without a heavy drama.

As for the main couple, it actually lack drama. Yes, there are some problems but it got solve right away. Then after that they only show now being sweet with each other or being jealous. Its beautiful but thats a normal thing for a BL novel, so its actually a little bit boring (but not that its boring to the point that you want to skip the novel ofc).

So I actually like this extra chapter cause i think the problem would be solve not that early. And the issue is also heavy so we would be expecting a lot of drama than intimate scenes.

  2. Nope, I don’t like this! Why does it feel like GMR did this to him? I mean, he sent his parents away, so it’s not impossible. The only “good” thing is that he didn’t touch LJ until LJ made the first move. Still it’s not like he really wanted to. And what the heck is with registering LJ for archeology!? If that isn’t what he wanted to do, then you ain’t helping him GMR!

Also, I cannot believe that HCM at least knew nothing of this! LJ’s father went down and his company too, probably, so how could HCM not know? Or at least have been informed by HMS?

    • I feel like HCM knows but thinks that this is their relationship so he shouldn’t butt in. It’s horrible. I’m going to pretend it never happened & the story ended at the previous chapter.

      • I know what you mean! I hate that attitude of staying out of a friend’s relationship. This is completely different than being a busybody and interfering. The boy was destitute! Even if he threw his phone away, why didn’t his friends come find him!? What if he committed suicide? What if someone other than GMR got a hold of him while he was drunk?? Makes me so mad! I want to punch them! 😡 I want to stop reading, but I really want a nice ending for LJ right now. I’m grasping at straws here!

        • I completely agree!! This casual steamrolling over so many problematic things as some kind of romantic plot makes me want to puke. Friends don’t ignore friends in trouble. Healthy relationships are good. Healthy relationships are good. Healthy relationships are good. Important things must be said trice.

  3. Mmm, not sure about Gu Ming Ren aiding and abetting Lin Jiang’s parents from fleeing, especially as they left their son. He’s helped criminals get away with it. GMR trying to help but still leaves LJ in a mess. Thanks for uploading the extra chapter 💕

  4. I want to puke. I knew I should have skipped this toxic couple. This is not how healthy relationships work. Please don’t let kids, that are readers, think that this is even remotely okay.

  5. I… I had agreed to the GMR and LJ ship if GMR decides to clean up his act and BE A NORMAL F***ING HUMAN AND TREAT LJ GOOD, LIKE AT LEAST HALF OF HOW HCM COURTED JL BUT WHAT THE HECK IS THIS I SEE?!?!?!?! GMR giving LJ’s parent’s the idea to ABANDON THEIR SON!!! And literally cornering him to the point that LJ has to think that the only thing he can do now is sell his body, and give him nightmares???? I call BS, this is such a scum gong alert so far😤😤 The only thing new I see is that he let LJ decide when they do it which I think is not much of a freedom of choice seeing as he did corner him into even going into that deal in the first place.
  6. Okay, so I’ve been waiting for this couple’s story since they first showed up. I felt sorry for Gu Ming Ren and hoped that things would work out for him. Maybe that’s why I view his actions a bit differently than most it seems. (Sorry this may get a bit tl:dr)

When the chapter starts, Lin Jiang is having what appears to be a nightmare yet his memories aren’t of a horrible rape but instead an intense first time consensual sexual encounter which culminated in pleasure for him. It clearly was still a traumatic experience for him however, but that has less to do with Gu Ming Ren and more to do with Lin Jiang’s own choices and the situation which led him to make such choices.

Maybe I’m not seeing something or missed something but I don’t understand the animosity towards Gu Ming Ren. Lin Jiang says that after he turned down Gu Ming Ren, the other boy left him alone. It was only once he heard about the issue with Lin Jiang’s parents that he came back into the picture – to help Lin Jiang.

Was it the right thing to do, giving the Lins’ money to leave? Maybe not, but he seemed to think it would help Lin Jiang. He even arranged for Lin Jiang to be away when all this was happening. Idk what his plan for afterward was or what he thought would happen to the other boy but Lin Jiang did say he’d ignored a flurry of phone calls so for all we know Gu Ming Ren had been frantically trying to reach him and finally happened to track him down after Lin Jiang got drunk.

When he offered to help, it was Lin Jiang who derisively brought up a sexual transaction to which Gu Ming Ren did NOT accept. He simply restated his offer of help and didn’t mention any strings attached. Again, it was Lin Jiang who offered and ultimately initiated the sexual contact. Gu Ming Ren basically left him alone after generously allowing him to live in his apartment (clearly not being forced to share a bed), enrolling him in college (nowhere does it say that GMR forced him to pick archaeology so I’m assuming that was what LJ wanted) PLUS giving him an allowance. Mind you, he did all this while Lin Jiang admittedly sat around eating and playing games AND Gu Ming Ren did all this without the typical scum gong sexual pressure for repayment.

Gu Ming Ren did all this with the clear knowledge that his feelings were unrequited and that Lin Jiang would likely never be able to financially repay him or accept his love. He cared so much about Lin Jiang that even after being rejected he protected and coddled him. He took a huge risk giving the Lins that money. If the law discovered that, he could easily be arrested to aiding and abetting. He could have turned his back on Lin Jiang and not wanted to get involved in all his mess, sat back and laughed at his misfortune – “If you had accepted me, I could have helped you…” but he didn’t do that. He went out of his way for a boy who he believes couldn’t care less about him and has done nothing to prove otherwise.

Imagine how he must have felt when he couldn’t contact Lin Jiang once he came home from his trip, the panic he may have experienced when he thought of the boy he loved all alone and destitute. Think about what it must have been like for Gu Ming Ren when Lin Jiang seduced him. It probably seemed like a dream come true only for the eventual realization to set in that this was just guilty repayment. Lin Jiang didn’t fall in love with him and maybe never would, no matter what he did for him or how much he loved him. The pain of seeing him day in and day out must have been terrible. No wonder he kept his distance. He didn’t stop taking care of Lin Jiang though. Even now when it appears Lin Jiang has moved out, it seems that Gu Ming Ren is still taking care of him.

Of course, all that is speculation on my part but I have a feeling that the next few chapters will show that things aren’t as cut and dried as they appear.

Thanks for reading this far and thanks to the translators for bringing us the extra story content!!! 😀

    • Well, your statement does make sense and lifts my opinion of GMR up a bit, but he is still yet to be redeemed of his initial actions for now. I’ll see how this plays out and watch out for lil LJ

      • Tbh I agree with you, I’m seeing people saying that GMR is toxic and what not but I can’t see how him helping led to JG giving his body to GMR, it’s not like he put any conditions while helping him and when it comes to paying back, can’t he do some part time jobs to pay back, or if not then at least save some money from working to not be a burden on GMR, how come a second generation rich kid gave away his body just like that, acting like he did it because he had no choice? I call bullshit. As a person born in a rich family, no matter how you reduce them, the self respect they have for themselves would not be reduced, selling your body? What soap opera is this? Did he asked for him to do that? No right? I can’t believe people are just putting questions on GMR while saying that LG is all innocent, I feel bad for LG but what he did was his own choice and it was high-low consensual, GMR didn’t corner him to force him into selling his body, no one did, he assumed it himself that GMR is doing everything to get body. Ahh it feels so bad that I skipped through half of it
    • I get where you’re coming from, but I guess my opinion of GMR was totally colored by his earlier interactions with LJ. He was a complete and utter a$$hole to LJ! Back then, the only thing he did right was disappear from his sight after that last rejection.

Even GMR’s “help” of sending LJ’s parents away with money is stupid. What purpose does it serve to send them into hiding and not help LJ find them?! I’m skeptical of his motives. Who knows if they really, truly abandoned LJ or if GMR convinced them it would be better if they left without LJ and promised he would look after him. Yes, I’m totally suspicious of GMR all the time. 😝

Also, while you say that GMR didn’t accept LJ’s offer of an exchange of help for sexual favors, neither did he outright deny it. So according to LJ’s POV of GMR and this situation, I think it’s perfectly reasonable that LJ believes that this now their relationship. And even if LJ felt some pleasure at the end of their encounter, he doesn’t seem to have any fond recollection whatsoever. He has nightmares and it said the one word that came to his mind was “brute”. So I cannot bring myself to care very much about GMR and his confusion. With that prior conversation, he’s the idiot if he really thought LJ was seducing him because he changed his mind. He is such a huge fool!

  7. I dono. Seems a lot of people dislike this, but to me this is a lot more interesting. I’ve eaten enough dog food so far from the other couple, now I want some intensity, angst and tension to spice things up. After all, a FICTION novel is not interesting if all there is is monotonous blabd events. And as always, remember,it’s all fiction. Fiction and RL should be separated, otherwise why are we even reading fiction novels if not to escape the Real world and enjoy fantasies? But I also get that this is not everyone’s cup of tea. I for one will continue reading and hope to see it come to a great end 💕 Thank you for all your hard work.😆
  8. Okay soo, i noticed smth soooo very Funny!

it was said that they had two other room mates who live out side and their major is archaeology, soo, does anyone know [Don’t you like me] they also rented a house in college and they deal with ghosts alot,so they might have entered archaeology as well, soo A CROSS OVER???

※Note: i know all of this is pretty baseless, but i couldn’t help my brain to go wild, its almost 3am and i have a cold, u can’t blame me.

  9. You know, I had plenty of dog food, now it’s time for cat food (what I like to call the opposite of dog food, angst, dark themes,) and hopefully get some dog food on the way, so that I won’t get tired of cat food. Hopefully the ‘HE’ They supposedly get will be good enough, and not just a HE just cause the author says it is. I’ll decide whether it is or not
