I once mentioned in a very early chapter that Jian Suiying is the main breadwinner in the Jian family, and that many relatives of his depend on him and his company to thrive. This is more obvious now than ever, as the issue is clearly bound to affect the entire Jian family. While his relatives are shareholders to his company and in a way its a family-owned company, many things still fall into his hands especially as the largest shareholder, and whatever choices he makes for his company ultimately affects the Jians, hence why they still rely on the success of Jian Suiying’s company.
Jian Suiying really isn’t a good person but I still feel bad for him that he had to live with the fact that a mistress and her son were living in his mom’s house, and then he had to sacrifice so much of his company for said son. Anyway, that’s just me though XD
