Dean quickly woke up, popping up as he ran his hand through his hair. He was sweating and could feel how wet the inside of his pants was. Cursing, Dean threw his covers off as he walked into his bathroom, taking a quick cold shower.

Dean walked out of his room, hoping that Caden made him some breakfast to eat. If not, he will microwave some leftovers.
When he entered the kitchen, he saw that the man left him an omelet and toast. Dean felt very grateful, making his guilt come back again about the dream.

It was a little past eleven o’clock when Caden came home. He entered the flat, only to see Dean sleeping on the couch with the TV running. He walked over, shaking the man awake.

The door to Caden’s room opened then closed as Dean looked up and saw how the man looked.

Caden’s hair was in a neat bun as two front strands framed his face. He was also wearing lip gloss (Dean seriously does not know where Caden was getting that stuff) as he looked up at Dean.
“You look beautiful,” Dean said as amazement came through his tone.
He knew that Caden looked like a female, but there were still male features there. But now, Dean could not see it.
Caden rolled his eyes, punching Dean as soft as he could, “Shut up. That is not what I want to hear.”
Dean rubbed his arm, pouting a bit, “Then what am I supposed to say?”
“Nothing. Now let’s go. We still have to make it to the jewelry store before going to see your parents.”
They were on the way to Dean’s family villa. Dean kept staring at the ring on his finger then at Caden’s as the man was tightly gripping the wheel. The rings looked nice, even though they were bare, but now Dean was starting to feel anxious the closer they got to the villa.
“What if my mother does not believe us? What if my father notices that you are not a female? After he became a CEO, I swear his eyes are sharper than before. I am sweating here.” Dean rapidly spoke; it felt like he could not breathe.
Caden did not say anything as he stopped at the gate, putting in the code that Dean gave him when they were at the jewelry store. When the gates opened, Caden drove until he saw a vast parking garage.
He parked the car, taking the key out as he unbuckled himself. Then he turned towards Dean, who looked close to having a panic attack as he unbuckled the man.
Caden grabbed Dean’s chin, making the man look him in the eyes. “I want you to breathe with me, okay?”
Dean nodded as their breath started to sync, causing the man to calm down. Seeing that Dean was not going to break down, Caden spoke again, “Listen to me. We will be fine, your father will not notice, and I will make sure that your mother will believe us, okay? I need you to trust me, Dean.”
“You know that I trust you with everything, Caden.” Dean softly spoke.
Caden let go of his chin, dropping his forehead on Dean’s, “Then there is no reason to feel anxious.”
Dean smiled; Caden always knew how to make him feel calm and confident. “You are right,” he pulled away first, “let’s go meet my parents.”
Caden nodded, getting out of the car while Dean got out at the same time. Caden locked the car doors while making his way next to Dean.
Dean walked to the entrance of the villa with Caden following him. Looking at the place, he had mixed feelings because it has been a while since he was last here.
People would say that they were jealous that he practically grew up in a mansion with everything people wished for. But Dean envied others.
Because even though they did not have things like him, they still grew up in a warm home with parents always there.
His home was cold, with nannies and workers taking care of him. Dean hated being here, but at the same time, it was still home to him because this is where he grew up.
Noticing his thoughts, Caden squeezed his hand, trying to reassure him, “I did not build your confidence in the car, only for you to take it away.”
Shaking his thoughts, Dean smiled, “You are right, my bad.”
Once they were at the entrance, Dean opened the door as an older man, dressed in a black and white suit, greeted them, “Welcome home, young sir, your mother is in the gardens. She said that it is a lovely day to be outside.”
Dean felt relieved that his mother was in a good mood. She would always go to the gardens when her attitude was in a positive light.
“Can you take us there?”
The man bowed for a second before saying, “Yes, sir. If you and the young lady could follow me, I will take you there.”
When the man started walking, Caden had a frown on his face. Dean intertwined their fingers that were still together as he gave Caden’s a squeeze.
Caden changed his expression to a neutral one as they followed the man to the gardens.
