   • Because Yaya was born male. And due to that, the parents don’t see Yaya as an actual female since they finally had a girl like they wanted.

     • So Yaya is Trans?

     • I do refer to Yaya with she pronouns. It is in the story, so I’m confused on why you said that.

11. I know this comment may not be taken in the correct way and that this story was finished a long time ago, however, as a fellow writer I just wanted to send some words of advice. The story is good, I like it and plan to finish it but, it’s also a good example of telling and not showing us what’s going on. The lack of descriptions at certain points can dramatically change how a story can affect a reader. An ex. I read a point where you said Dean was depressed, instead you could describe his expressed, downcast eyes, sorrowful. There’s a lot more to an expression than just looking depressed.

    These are only words of advice.
