So many cannon fodder endlessly delivering themselves at the door for some old fashioned face slapping… The heroines are pretty shameless too, to still take the gifts from their ‘admirers’ while still acting all high and mighty, smh… Was the original written by an incel?! Would make sense given not a single woman in this thing has been remotely decent so far…

    • The “hero” treated everyone by what he can get from them. (Thus, abandoning the “villain” because he lost his only use – his family network.). Honestly, just about everyone in the original book is a horrible person with a few exceptions: the villain, LM’s Aunt and cousins (including a girl!) who sent him care packages after he had been sent to farm, the husband and wife neighbors of LM when he was farming for his old family, the fishermen who rescued them, etc.

      The problem arises that the “hero” had a harem, and obviously he did not choose/promote good people.so, obviously all these harem women will be horrible people.

      It is overall less about anti-decent women and more a judgement on the original hero’s choices. As far as other decent women in the world – our couple would be unlikely to get to know any since they tend to be insular (too many secrets) and in ancient times such as these, single women (and duals) are somewhat segregated from men like LM. They are more likely to get to know other couples (true even in non segregated environments). But they are still hiding too many secrets and moving around too much to get to know the good people. Bad people only take opening their mouths to know they are bad…

      • Yes, you said it nicely. No one the hero chose was a good person. Good ppl tend to keep to themselves or be taken advantage of so we never rly hear much of them. Kindness is a weakness in these.
