Knock Knock Knock——
Lin Yi knocked on the door. There came a rustling sound from inside but no one came to open the door for them.
Ou Ying’s guess was that they might have give Ye Qiong a fright so she shouted, “Ye Qiong! It’s us.”
Truth be told, the presence of the student union didn’t reassure Ye Qiong. After all, it was the student union, fulfilling the school’s regulations, that put him here.

There were no obvious clues on the body, so Lin Yi looked around the room again. The layout and furnishings of the room was very similar to the one he’d roomed in last night, right down to the full-length mirror facing the bed.

After about ten minutes, Lin Yi came out of the kitchen. Just then, the woman in red was leading the remaining students in the dining hall. The woman in red glanced at Lin Yi who was already seated. Shen then pulled out a dining chair and sat down.
She seemed to be used to the guests’ reluctance to eat, didn’t try to urge them when they showed no signs of eating breakfast. She gracefully picked up a liver-like organ from her plate and put it into her mouth in small bites.
Lin Yi was next to the woman in red. He could hear her chewing.

The murder weapon used to kill Luo Yi was a chopstick. And so he went to the kitchen to see if the 2-6 Monster had left any traces in the kitchen.
Ou Ying asked, “What’s in the kitchen?”
Lin Yi thought that he would be met with scenes of blood and gore in the kitchen. After all, the food they were being served was enough to get people’s imaginations running. But he saw none of that.

I am wondering, could the corpses be smiling because they recognise a fellow one? After all, all of Lin Yi’s family became monsters as well. It’s quite mysterious how he had been the only one not to be affected
I keep thinking about Lin Yi’s family situation. Were his parents graduates? Is it really possible to graduate this university? If so, seems it still wouldn’t let go.
There was the in-novel theory that the University itself is a Rule World. If you take that assumption to be true, entering a Rule World outside of the University would probably be equivalent to wild pokémon encounters but rarer. …Just that Lin Yi’s parents don’t have the appearance of being killed by a Rule World, but that of those who committed s*icide on the school grounds and got mentally messed up.
If they commited suicide, then how did Lin Yi was born? Was he born at the University grounds before his parents commited suicide? If so, how did he get out as a child, and why was he released outside with their undead corpses?
His parents didn’t always look like that, I think it was said that he one day came home from school and they were like that. Also, they don’t need to have committed su*cide; I just mean that they look like those who did that on University grounds, like Lin Yi’s class tutor.

My theory about the dice deciding the specifics of the Rule World was right!
And the way to solving this Rule seems like… denying the existence of ghosts?? Well, if Cheng Yang chanted more socialist virtues, I think those ghosts would beat it, just like how Lin Yi’s brainwashing of “there are no ghosts in this world” made that one ghostie unhappily beat up the next-best person. Oh, and it probably asked “do you believe in ghosts?” or something like that and then bam! — dead.
