Translator's Note

Music spotted this and questioned how Cui Hu knew it was 1.637cm. However, it is not specified in the raws if Cui Hu used an instrument to measure the tree branch…or he just knew it was 1.637cm…

    • Unspayed cats can spray it over several feet, I guess to mark their territory. I was once visiting my grandma’s house in the village, I was standing on the rooftop at morning and enjoying the warm winter sun, I saw a cute orange cat napping on the neighbour’s roof and I was like ‘aww, so cute’…. And then it got up, stalked over to the other end of the roof and just did that!! And I was like ‘what did I just see’??😲😖😱

  1. “…he took a tree branch, inserted it into one area of the soil that contained seeds Cui QiChao had buried, and measured it again.”

I think he compared the depth of a few seeds by marking/scratching the branch and saw they were all buried at the exact same level, so he assumed they were all at 1.637 as CQC had said. You don’t need an instrument or even to know how long 1.637 cm is for this method.

  2. earlier in the chapter: (referring to the K something weapons) “And because he did it himself, he expected that their lethality wasn’t as good as regular ammunition that had been manufactured with high precision.”

at the end: “No, no. The sowing depth should be 1.637 cm into the soil.”

cui qichao can do anything for farming XD
