  5. Hold up, I thought you could only go down the road of chosen if you were Xiantian stage??? Why are Song He and company mostly already mid immortal stage? Theres no way they advanced to mid immortal stage in just the week they’ve been on this road.

      The MC and ML chose to remain at peak Xiantian stage nine because they speculated that breaking through on the Central Continent would be more beneficial.

    • 九尺 (Nine Chinese feet or three meters) is often used to describe the height of the legendary figure Guan Yu from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Whenever Chinese authors use the descriptor 九尺, it’s used as hyperbole to liken their characters to Guan Yu. The height of “three meters” is mentioned multiple times in this novel, but I think I only put a translator’s note for this descriptor’s first appearance.
