  3. I’m totally in favor of the Mingxia and Huang Ji pairing! Huang Ji is already such a unique character. Definitely in BL, but also exceedingly rare in other genres. Depending on how he views himself, he’s either a trans man or a lesbian in a setting where gender roles and sexual attraction are considered forever linked. I’m a huge fan! I’m rooting for this couple to be a side ship. ^_^

  15. Fanart for Haung Ji and Ming Xia. I couldn’t really find or recall any clear description of Ming Xia other than she was 11 or 12 at the beginning of the story so just gave her a cute preteen/early teen girl look. If there is a good description somewhere, please let me know the chapter.

        I used to post digital stuff on deviantart but haven’t really had time or inspiration for much so it’s pretty outdated. Though this story definitely inspired some fun marker pieces. I might make a folder and post better scanned versions there later when I have time so you can share the deviant link if you want. All these were photos taken from my phone so the quality isn’t great.
