  1. What surprises me is that the method martial artists use to tackle secret realms is always the same – they just attack it mindlessly! Secret realms are not unheard of in this world, people know they’re likely to be dangerous. One would think there should be a flourishing industry serving those who enter such realms. Like, you could create golems for scouting. You could invent special research or seeing spells. You could train beasts to test the waters – it may seem cruel, but not more cruel than using people as lab rats! I find it really weird…

Thank you for the translation 🌸

P.S. Could it be Ling Ziwei’s affected because the woman in the coffin also had a siren body?

    • Secret realms might be unheard of, but most of the people going in are generally competing against each other for the stuff inside. Some people, especially those without backing, may find it worth risking their lives to be the first ones in.

Also, while large organizations who may have the resources to build golems and such, but why would they invest into that when human lives are likely cheaper? I mean, in a more modern-style cultivation setting where industrialization and human rights are a thing, it might be like as you say, but this setting is very much based on feudalism, so that’s what we see.

      • But the cost of nurturing a martial artist is also considerable – countless pills, cultivation manuals, weapons forged specifically for them, not to mention their living expenses. Especially since in this case some of the dead were Immortal Realm martial artists. I just find such negligence implausible. And it’s a misconception to think that the feudal system could waste resources indefinitely. Speaking about wars, yes, in a battle citizens’ militia could be sacrificed to spare professional soldiers, but no commander with a lick of sense would squander heavily-armored knights – they were damn expensive and not easy to cultivate! Besides, at least in Europe nobles were damn prideful – even a medieval monarch was but the first among equals – so if they were treated like sacrificial offerings, they could just rebel!

Imo of course, it looks more like sloppy world-building than a well-thought-out concept.

  2. Yaaa, if the inheritance was made for a compatible couple, as i mean for TY and LZW, won’t this fate actually a lil too powerful. A woman with special constitution inheriting the captivating corpse and a man with fire earth attributes inheriting the weapon and the cultivation set. Like a predestined couple from Ling’s lineage. Well Tiandu body always spreads luck to those near anyway. So…

Ok my imagination ran off out of track. Lolololol

  3. Possession?!

But I can’t wait for those greedy martial artists to arrive and, “Gone?!?”

    😆 Thank you

  4. Haha, it feels like our protagonists are lending out their luck to the lowbies of the party again.

    Translation notes:

Although this man wasn’t a master, he was as venerable as a master. –> Although this man is technically not his master, he can be venerated as proper for a master. (the focus here is that Tianyang is giving respects equivalent to that of recognizing a sensei)

  5. Thx for the chapter ^^ ✨

LWZ will probably find what she needs there…

GZ: So… I refined all those pills for nothing?

  6. Ahh I love this chapter. It’s so fun like a dungeon in an RPG. Everyone gets new skills, armor and weapons!!! ☺

    Thanks for the chapter 🥺

  7. Why is Dragon One always treated like an object without feelings? 😂

I guess he’s aromantic, asexual, and probably a virgin. Lol, he might as well become a monk~ 🤣

I kinda pity/kinda mock those poor cannon fodders outside that are sacrificing so much for nothing, even if they manage to enter the right door and survive all the trials, there’s no more treasures left…

    Thanks for the chapter ~🌸

  8. Wow, good thing that Tianyang showed respect to the statue teacher 🙂 hopefully this attractive lady in the coffin can teach ling Zhiwei how to control her attractiveness powers!
