  2. HOLY CRAP. The human emperor is really fierce in his choice of inheritor. Also why isn’t Gu Zuo asking his system more questions? “How many entrances are there?” “Will the difficulty rise to the immortal level?” “What material is this made of?” I’m so damn confused when he clearly has basically unlimited medicinal qi wisps.

    Also you’ve got to start wondering why the human king would have a tomb like this. How did the Ling family even have this key in the first place? It’s quite amazing and I’m fairly certain there will be a cultivation technique for a lot of constitutions in the tomb.

    • I don’t think the system is all-knowing on all subjects but more of a pharmacist only thing. Though if the medicine available is an indicator of the environment the the system might be able to extrapolate from there like how the corpse flower needs certain things etc.

    • GZ is pretty stingy when it comes to handing over his medicinal qi to the system. He usually doesn’t do it unless the immediate situation really needs it, or if he’s prompted by GYTH (who GZ trusts to be wiser than him when it comes to asking for help).

      Also, remember, he uses that stuff for his own cultivation too, so it’s good to have a buffer supply available for emergencies.

  12. When I read this arc I keep thinking, the MC’s are so OP but Dragon One has to do all the work still. He deserve some love for breaking his back carrying the entire time. Decided to do some fanart of Dragon One and the Tian Long Guards.
