Thank you for the chapter, sorry if it bother you but why Xavier and not Cyril like in the original??? I’m currently reading the raws chapters almost on par with the author and I found it wear to read that name here. Sorry again just curious.
Prob has something to do with different interpretations of the characters (Chinese letters). Romanticized names in East Asian languages are made up of multiple characters that have an approximate sound in English, I could easily see EITHER Xavier or Cyril being used in relation to the characters chosen for Ye Mao’s new name. It has to do with how the translator personally sees the name. 🤷♀️ So translators just take the mtl version and be done with it, while others look at the raw characters and figure it out from there.
