    • Absolutely. It literally doesn’t concern me, has no impact on my life, and isn’t my responsibility to care about. The only place I’m willing to draw a line is that public displays of affection shouldn’t risk a public indecency charge. So, y’know, don’t have sex in public view and I’m very happy to have zero opinion on your love life.

    • Father Huo really is the MVP. He’s an exceedingly good person and a good father. He allows his children to stumble and make mistakes because he knows they will grow from them and he doesn’t seek to control their lives, only hoping that they will be happy and healthy. Really the ideal parent. Mother Huo is similar, but more emotionally volatile, so it’s good that she has father Huo to keep her rational and stable. Also, apparently the parents Huo owe Qinghuan a life debt from their previous lives, so it’s good that they came around so quickly. If Huo Yu had died they would have been crushed beyond reason.

  13. Well, Mama Huo’s reaction was quite realistic. The people involved have had some time to adjust their mental state, but springing it on your parents is rather a sudden thing and it’s usually quite a shock. While I absolutely don’t approve of her response, the fact that father Huo managed to break her resolve and they ended up approving of the relationship continuing is a good thing. Life is so short, there’s no need to be so picky about who you fall in love with. So few people meet their destined person, so why shy away from them when you do?
