  1. Bed for a thousand years is like dying… don’t get me wrong i love sleeping but please don’t diiie

  2. Oh the temptation to say a bunch of stuff that doesn’t make sense just to have some fun with a sleep – deprived brain! But it’s not my place and it would just be petty revenge for making me crumble with our boys in the first half of this chapter. The timing on their safety is funny. I just saw headlines about two Air France pilots fist-fighting in the cockpit while in the air 😂. Hopefully everyone has heard about that already so you know I’m not pulling a Wei Qing!

Sleep is awesome, but I’m convinced it’s gone feral and there’s nothing we can do except hope it likes the way we smell.

  3. Glad Yue Fei didn’t take long to process the difference between Wei Qing’s reaction to his brother’s death and his own (YF’s). We all want to be chosen, to be the only one, to be first, above all and everyone else. It’s the “selfishness” of love and being loved. Maybe it helps that Yue Fei sees himself as not worthy (not so much now than before, he’s healing), but perhaps he thinks, “it’s okay, as long as I still have him”. Make me feel sorry for him. But I think, it’s more the understanding of Wei Qing’s logic/explanation. All I can say is, YF is a way better person than i am. I would have asked more more time to process things and deal with my feeling. Sure I’ll come around, but only after moping about for a few days. Haha. Childish, I know. But hey, I want to be coaxed as well.

    Thank you for this story.
