At work, you see him show up as the pillar of the company who makes the sign-offs on every final decision. But then you see him go to his family, which is as estranged from him as could be and doesn’t care about what he thinks, says, or feels. And then, whenever he’s with Tang Kai, we see specks of his innermost self shine through in his teasing remarks, childish actions, and personal preferences.
