  1. Poor kid,

I agree with Kim. Yan needs 2 mature like she did and take care of the kid, I can understand y she kept the child rather than aborting (In my view, if I was pregnant ‘even accidently’ I wouldn’t want to abort bcs in the future I would want a child but then how could I bring myself to fully love and take care of the child if I got rid of my first? I’d have child retribution nightmares), and I accept that it’s normal 4 Yan 2 not want a child.

Thankfully Kim isn’t a white lotus bitch 😂😂 and doesn’t rlly give a shit about Yan

    • I have to disagree. They both didnt want kids so when she got pregnant it made sense to abort but since she just decided she didnt want to all of a sudden. the kid is now her responsibility. It’s not like she wanted kids from day 1 so shes in the wrong. Yes it’s sad for nan but also rly unfair to yan. The moms the bitch in this one.

  2. Ok so I feel like Kim is the one who made the terrible mistake. She didn’t want to abort, she didn’t want to give him up to adoption and now that she doesn’t want to take care of him she’s leaving him. Like I can’t understand why ppl are bashing Yan, like it’s his choice to not have a kid and she should have respected it by not introducing the kid to the father who doesn’t want him. That’s just gonna make the kid cry. Like it’s not out of the ordinary that ppl Don’t want kid, and if Yan was a female and was forced to raise a kid u won’t bash him but now that he’s not the one who had to be pregnant it’s not OK for him to not want to be a father. Like yeah Yan handled it rather terribly, but it’s understandable.
    • I agree, yan has no agency or control once a woman is pregnant. It was clear he didnt want to be a father to start with. But got it forced on him, I hate how quickly we make men responsible without any say in the matter, cause women have full control over who is born. If we dont want a baby there are plenty of options, for guys the beat they can do is protection and even that isnt 100% fool proof. Otherwise they are screwed by the system.

      • Thanks for you two understanding. You can never force someone to be a parent, it will only end bad (and this is coming from someone with experience ((I come from a single parent household)) and who worked with kids that had dealt with this where it ended up in abuse for them).

Kim and Yan both made mistakes and it bothered me that people only said stuff about Yan. But did they miss the part that Kim neglected Nan and left a baby/toddler alone for hours on some days?

Yeah, Yan didn’t want a kid, so he left. He could have dealt with it better, but he is only human. He knew how it would have been so he tried to take himself out the equation only for Kim to come back and force him.

And don’t forget, I did mention that they were 100% toxic with each other, so it gave Yan another reason for running.

But now, Yan has Nan and he is trying. He is not a bad person, and I wanted people to understand that.

        • I’m prob the only person badjing kim n not yan bc he was done so wrong. I really couldn’t understand y everyone bashes him. She had so many options that didnt involve dumping the kid on yan yet she did that bc like yan said shes a vicious person and it shows.

          • Nope, not the only one, me too. I know somehow who once was in a similar situation to Yan. He was clear from the start that he did not want any kids, their relationship not stable enough with a level of toxicity. And there she goes, deciding to stop taking her pill without telling him and ends up pregnat, binding him not just legally to pay for the kid he did not want in the first place, but also emotionally blackmailing him into paying attention to the kid. Well…he tried. But the kid would sense it was not wanted. In this case, it’s on Kim, practically ruining not just her life, but Yan’s and especially Nan’s. Yan’s reaction to walk out on her was the right one – basically damage limitation.
      • The system isnt all that great for women either. Birth control options are prescribed wildly nilly with no thought of side effects. And if unwanted preg does happen the option to abort has been taken away in some places. Then no one wins.

  3. After reading most comments it seems I’m in the minority on feeling disdain for kim n not any blame on yan. Poor guy got things dumped on him by a vicious ex. She has no worries about doing it either.

  4. so…..Poor baby Nan for having irresponsible parents. I can’t imagine how heartbreaking it is to hear your parents saying they never wanted you. For god’s sake Yan don’t have sex with someone that can get pregnant if you don’t like having children. Guess I’m not liking you then. But still hoping that you can man up and be a responsible father to your own CHILD! You and your ex is a both trash for doing that to your child. Sheesh

  5. Hoping that people who don’t like having kids, must imprint on their minds to use protection while having seggs, both person involved. Really…hays. If they ever end up with a child they should accept it as they are the one who did it, be responsible on what you did by choosing your lust. :))

  6. I don’t know how the author can come back from this with him. Considering how much they both didn’t want a child, why didn’t she get rid of it or have him adopted?

While I can imagine his family being dissapointed in him, I also can’t imagine them forcing him to be with her considering how toxic the relationship was. But with older siblings and how the parents are, I am sure one of them would have been willing to raise the kid. Heck, with their money, they could have had a full time nanny.

It’s not like they both didn’t have multiple options available to them. This just made him so unlikable. Just saying that the relationship was toxic and he didn’t want kids isn’t enough. If she had drugged and tricked him, or some other circumstance, maybe. But this…. nope.

    • I grew up around a community of terrible parents. They have many options to take their kids somewhere else, knowing they don’t want them. But did they do it? No.

Yan didn’t want his family knowing about the child, because that meant acknowledging him at that time. Why would he tell his family, especially ones that he visit for family holidays or family dinners all the time?

He didn’t want to be a parent, knowing he would be emotionally abusive to the child, so he walked out before the child was born to take his existence out from the child’s life before the child could even get to know him.

Kim blackmailed him into seeing the child, making his presence known, because he did not want his parents to know even though his family could have gave the child a better start of his childhood.

Kim didn’t want to abort or send the child to an adoption place cause she did not want to be judged.

That is the human mind. Humans makes stupid choices and sometimes don’t think of the options they do have. Think of some of the terrible parents in the world, not wanting their kids, but keeping and abusing them. They had options too.

So I wanted to put that in here. Not everything is happy go lucky. I wanted, what I witness before many times, added in here.

      • Preach. My “father” cheated on my mum when she was pregnant, then said he couldn’t marry her because he had to marry the other girl because he got her pregnant. He then refused to pay child support and I’ve never met him. Although I do know he has 5 other kids with 3 other women.

  7. I think this was the worst chapter yet. Worst way to shoe-horn a character in yet too. This is not how humans talk to each other either, Kim our big baddie has the dumbest lines dear god.
