Our dear Author will not let us suffer some angst. Who didn’t made some stupid things when they first fell in love? I know I did LOL.

If it was really a sudden flip in attitude, I would agree more that he should worry. As the cute cup story demonstrated, Lu Xun has been on this track for a long time and just didn’t know what to call it. I’m betting that if it was ending, it would either be a mutual feeling or Lu Xun would let him go after trying his best to fix it. He is persistent but he has never put his own happiness above Ye Yao’s well -being.

Tbh, this is one of the first times I’ve run into an MC who does not normalize obsessive, creepy behavior (when it is present). It makes the characters seem much more realistic.
Me too, honestly. He still feels very in character. It’s also nice to see it not as a “it’s creepy because it was another man” but “it’s creepy because I didn’t consent to those advances.” Especially from a work with such strong heteronormative attitudes, and one with a lot of homophobia from the characters. It’s cool to see the author taking the mc’s actual feelings into consideration for once. We’ll see how long that lasts 😂

Honestly the creepy things haven’t crossed the line that a lot of novels/ manhwa have be it a straight or bl relationship trope. Hope our mc doesn’t have too much trouble with LX
