  9. Thank you for the chapter! Didn’t think I’ll catch up to the lastest chapter this fast.

    Seeing that Fu Li’s elders are popping out one by one, I just realized that we never had any information about Zhuang Qing’s father. We know that his mother was an unfavored princess, how she changes male partners a lot, and that she begged the emperor to bestow a jade pendant/plaque(?) (can’t remember what it’s called) to Zhuang Qing to ensure he will have a noble title.

    But nothing about his father… at least nothing that I remember. 😅😅

    Was his father ever discussed before? Or is it something in later chapters? I’m curious. 🤔

    • It was somehow mentioned that he turn to ashes. That he used the last bit of his life to coax/convinced ML’s mother. IDK if he was perhaps the male consort that died. Tho probably not since it was also said that ML’s mother unwittingly got pregnant, hinting that ML’s birth weren’t proper so most likely, the father was just one of the many male companion that she met.

  13. ZQ be feeling guilty that in his eyes everyone seems to have impure intentions regarding FL. Pfft, as if anyone would even dare try to try and go for FL when there are plenty of rumors abound about their relationship. It’s just that FL is too naive in ways of the heart that ZQ will have to suffer a bit more. Jiayou!

    I can’t understand how all creatures are equal with that sentence. Isn’t being equal means treating everyone the same regardless of who they are, what they are, and their value? Well, I don’t really care about it since I really like the progress of the story.
