24. I bawled my eyes out as I read the passage where Feng Chen started crying after he kept rowing when he heard a ship’s whistle in the distance. He is just a child, craving the same protection that every child deserves. I’ve been in a similar situation, so I can deeply relate to this. I think it was called a child’s fragile heart.

25. I’m kind of glad that instead of blindly hating everyone he knew there are good people like Uncle Wu who are worth saving, hopefully he won’t turn into an extremely cold emotionless ML like all the others..
