I was jsut thinking that Ye Shi and Mu Chen’s wedding arrangement is because his grandfather actually doesn’t want to marry his favorite grandson, tagt is his first son’s son, to Ye Shi. I think the grandfather doesn’t really care too much for their betrothal and promise
