They were a different sort of crowd, not like usual fans who were just after the face. If they can call themselves ‘black’ for Hunter, then even if they were protesting against him for Shen Yu’s sake, Shen Yu knew they were just jesting. 

Shen Yu had a lot of face fans on EAE forums, but those fans never defended him when he was bullied, they most likely even got along well with Shen Yu’s haters. Hunter fans were strangely enough, more mature. He had yet to end the session and check their feeds about him, but he didn’t think they would curse him out right after saying such nice things to him.  RyD6h3

After he first received his Golden Ticket, there was a trend on their local feed about Shen Yu getting the gold. It screamed in bold letters, [Shen family has another young gold master], [Shen Yu got the gold]. 

It was very impressive, it attracted great attention and trended until a week. The trend was so popular that it turned gold colored as per popular trend norms, but Shen Yu never felt joy seeing it. It was just a fake concept. He didn’t care.  

Even now, he didn’t feel happy, but seeing the Hunter fans so active in defending him and asking about his likes and dislikes, he didn’t mind their concerns as much. Maybe it had something to do with them being Kai’s fans, Kai was also very strange, and his fans were even more so.
