Their expansive hotel room boasted a generous size, featuring a colossal bed at its center, adorned with an elegant blue lace sheet and a pristine white duvet. Adjacent to which sat an equally colossal plush couch, a table towards the foot, and an open-air bathtub – which definately caught Shen Yu’s attention – the bathtub being wide enough for a couple to comfortably share.
Even the viewers in the live session were left speechless by the novel treatment, just like Shen Yu, their eyes followed the open air bathtub, some even pointing out the scented candles and exclusive combo towels placed by the shower head.
Having enough of the couple suite, Shen Yu asked rather loudly, “Can we change rooms?” His gaze lingered on the oversized bathtub, which had promoted the request.
“Why,” Kai asked in return, surveying the room from behind him as they both walked inside. Shen Yu also noticed absently when Kai picked up a scented candle, sniffing it in passing.
“We might have some problem when we go for a bath.”
Kai turned to look at Shen Yu when the latter pointed at the bathtub, which was open for all occupants to see. Thankfully the water closet was placed inside four walls by the end of the room. At least the planner had an insight to keep that separate.
“But we are couple ah, you are forgetting our identity kitten,” Kai reminded with a laugh, as he casually sat on the bed and touched the silky lace on the edge. Then he glanced back at Shen Yu when the other remained silent, and gave him a funny look.
“I’ll erect a shadow shield if that’s what kitten is worried about, how about it hmm?” Kai teased with a mischievous smirk, his expression growing increasingly provocative when he noticed the soft red tint on the other’s cheeks. “Do you think I’ll peek?” he added leaning over, as if actually confessing prior to the deed.
Shen Yu gently pushed Kai away when he noticed the other getting too close – since Shen Yu was standing right next to him – as if he would bite the soft belly in view if given a chance.
Kai didn’t back down though, grasping Shen Yu’s waist with one arm and holding his thigh with the other hand. When Shen Yu felt the restriction, he didn’t dodge as per his training, instead he leaned closer and fell towards Kai in revenge.
Of course Kai steadied him, not letting him fall – much to viewer’s disappointment – instead Kai decided to push Shen Yu on to the bed, making the other bounce up and down before laying softly. The mattress was comfortable, and the duvet was very soft against his skin.
Shen Yu didn’t even make a noise when he fell, as he expected to fall on the mattress.

Shen Yu started to choke on his short laugh, finding another throw pillow on the bed. It was covered with a soft fabric which felt like wool.
“What? Contemplating the launch of another fluffy missile in my direction?” Kai taunted with a raised eyebrow, his tone laced with amusement. “Are you attempting to smother me with those soft projectiles? I tell you, they won’t prove effective. Nevertheless, feel free to unleash more.” Kai strode to left as he caught the throw pillow before it landed inside the bath tub, “Your marksmanship is superb, just mere meters away from me. Ah, the intensity—my ability to breathe is truly tested.”
Shen Yu shook with loud giggles and snorted in between as he complied, propelling pillows after pillows until Kai fell to his knees, his lap full of throw pillows.
Being childish and immature, laughing through pillow fights, it was all just a matter of pleasing oneself and another, at times Shen Yu just wanted to enjoy the respite, and having fun was pretty easy when he was with Kai, it came almost naturally to him.
There was no humor to be found in their antics; Kai’s sense of humor was abysmal, lacking any comedic finesse. However, despite their inability to crack jokes, they both possessed a peculiar way of expressing themselves, which was good enough for them.
The viewers who watched the entire interaction felt the whole situation was rather novel, and some even recorded the whole thing, to watch when they felt low.
Kai rose from his reclined position, swiftly returning the pillows to their previous arrangement, before throwing a subtle glance towards Shen Yu. “Are you having fun little kitty?”
Shen Yu nodded, curling on the bed like a shrimp, his boots nudging the edge as he untied the lace. However, before he could shake out his foot, long fingers grasped his ankles one after one, effortlessly sliding off the boots and placing them by the bed in a proper manner.
Shen Yu dared not lift his gaze as warm fingers embraced his ankle once more.
Suppressing the ticklish sensation, he refrained from shaking them off, opting instead to play with his fingers while Kai inspected his soles for injuries. The boots had been unkind to his heels during walks, resulting in recurrent skin injuries. By the third week, he kept a continuous supply of foot salve at hand.
Embarrassed by the care bestowed upon him yet secretly pleased by the attention, Shen Yu could only blush in response to Kai’s interference.
He shivered, curling his toes as they were playfully pinched—a silent, teasing probe to capture his attention. As if Shen Yu could ever avert his gaze when Kai was present. Glancing up from his fingers as the ministrations ceased, he was startled when his eyes met Kai’s.
Those dark irises carried an unusual intensity to them when they looked at him, as if he was the only one worthy of their attention.
There was no heat behind the gaze, only a secret hint of observation, as though they were observing something interesting when they watched him.
Shen Yu was the first to break eye contact, shyly creeping up the bed to make space for the other.
Observing attentively, he watched as Kai set aside his boots, washed his hands in the nearby basin, and then joined him on the bed. The robust, bulging arms flexed even more as Kai leaned on them to find a comfortable position, briefly capturing Shen Yu’s attention before he averted his gaze.
A subtle sense of unease crept over him, prompting him to be cautious of something, and he made a discreet move to exit the bed from the opposite side. “…I just recalled not having washed my face; I will com-”
“Where do you think you are going, hm?” Kai intercepted his escape, smirking. “Let’s put your self-discipline to the test,” he declared, a soft glint in his eyes as his fingers effortlessly found their way beneath Shen Yu’s shirt.
Soon, a tickling sensation crawled up his waist, catching Shen Yu off guard. Suppressing the bubbling laughter, he tightly pressed his lips, a hand rising to fend off the playful intrusion.
Even when in struggle to break free, Kai’s strength and speed prevailed, pulling Shen Yu down with an easy finesse.
Shen Yu soon found himself slumped on the bed, his face buried in the sheets, and a muffled gasp accompanied by a choked laugh escaped his lips.
“S-Stop,” he managed to request breathily, attempting to kick away at Kai’s face which was the closest to his range, but Kai swiftly evaded the kick, his hand resuming its playful assault on Shen Yu’s ticklish waist.
The room filled with the sounds of their playful skirmish, punctuated by Shen Yu’s laughter and pleas for mercy.
“Stop, hahaha, haha, sto-stop!” Shen Yu yelped, his own voice unrecognizable as his feeble form quivered under the relentless assault of tickles.
The more he struggled, the heavier his breathing became, and a soft redness started to seep into his cheeks.
His chest heaved, and his throat ached from unrestrained laughter. His belly was starting to hurt from the unexpected forced joy.
“I will stop, I will stop, breathe for me,” Kai sighed, his lips forming a small grin as he gently turned Shen Yu over to face him.
