A couple of days later, one of the most powerful law firms in the country made an announcement to the public. It was revealed that their client named Mr. Franco James Olin had filed a case against the famous supermodel Chelsea Meyer and the stylist Leslie Hall for Defamation. The announcement also stated that upon police investigation, the twitter account with the username @hunnywhat that posted a series of malicious tweets towards Fran, was owned by Chelsea Meyer. Leslie Hall, on the other hand, provided the facebook post screenshot to Chelsea, and the two conspired to sully Fran’s reputation for their own benefits.
Attached in the announcement was a copy of the police report regarding the issue. The law firm stated that their client, Mr. Olin, would not agree to any kind of settlement from the other parties because he wanted to see the case through the very end.
Many speculations had emerged from the pubic regarding the case. What was Chelsea Meyer’s motive in destroying Fran’s reputation? Some said it was because Chelsea was jealous of the relationship between Fran and Noah Alva. Some were speculating that Chelsea was a narcissistic biatch and she saw Fran as a competition because the latter was too beautiful for a guy. While others thought that Chelsea Meyer was just plain evil, she wanted everyone to simply be at her mercy.
Well, the truth was not far from those speculations. So, the public was free to speculate anything. The case was ongoing, anyway.
If you thought that was it for Chelsea Meyer—you had thought wrong. An hour after the announcement, a facebook account owned by an entertainment company posted an important matter regarding one of their talents.
Julia Bennett-Astrid was a newbie actress who was gaining popularity for her critically-acclaimed portrayal in the latest number one blockbuster movie in the country. Julia was a soft-spoken twenty-one-year old girl, who grew up in the province and came to the city when she was eighteen years old to become a model. She appeared in several ads, however, for years, her modeling career didn’t advance despite her beauty and talent. Fortunately, a casting director noticed her and offered Julia to be an actress—which was a good move on her part. Now, Julia was one of the most well-loved newbie actresses in the country.
Going back to the facebook post made by an entertainment company that was mentioned earlier, the talent they were talking about was Julia Bennett-Astrid. The post stated that Julia was suing Chelsea Meyer for harassment.
The story was like this: during Julia’s modeling stint, she had worked with Chelsea Meyer for a lingerie ad. From the moment Julia was introduced to Chelsea, the latter made derogatory remarks regarding Julia’s appearance and her accent. Chelsea even made fun of Julia’s skin in front of the other models.
It didn’t stop there. Julia worked with Chelsea again after a month. During breaks, Julia would sleep on her chair because she was too tired for working two more jobs beside being a model. However, the final straw happened on Julia’s last year of modeling career. A newly established clothing company tapped Julia to be their top endorser. Julia was delighted because her career as a model remained stagnant throughout the years. The offer was a big help for Julia.
After a few meetings with the clothing company, the final concept was made, the contract was signed, and the schedules were planned. Julia was so ready to step up her modeling only to find out one sunny morning, that she was dropped out from the project.
The clothing company didn’t compensate Julia either because they argued that it was not stated in the contract that the company had to pay Julia if she was laid off in the middle of the project.
After the devastating news, Julia heard that Chelsea Meyer replaced her in the project. Julia even received a text message from Chelsea stating that Julia would never be successful as a model. And Chelsea would always be there to hinder Julia no matter what she wanted to do. It was clear that Chelsea had everything to do with Julia’s dropping out from the project. Later, Julia learned that Chelsea had a hobby of bullying newbie models that she considered as a threat to her career.
Julia had lost hope at first. Chelsea was a big name and Julia was just a newbie. Good thing, she was offered a job as an actress by a person who had influence. Chelsea wouldn’t be able to sabotage Julia ever again. Now that she had gain popularity, she decided to get revenge. Julia took a screenshot of everything—from Chelsea’s posting of Julia’s unflattering pictures in the group chat, Chelsea’s derogatory messages about Julia on the group chat, and finally, Chelsea’s text message to Julia. Everything will be considered as evidence for the harassment case against Chelsea.
The next victim of Chelsea Meyer who came out to the public was a family of three. Mr. and Mrs. Jones had a son named Rafael. The boy was a former teen model who worked with Chelsea Meyer when Rafael was 17.

After Rafael parents found out about the truth, they immediately filed a case against Chelsea Meyer. However, because of Chelsea’s money and influence, nothing much had happened with the case for a year. The media even covered up the issue by telling the public that it was just a false charge. No one was talking about the case, and eventually, the case was about to be dismissed.
Good thing, there was someone who was helping the family with the case now. That someone hired a new and competent lawyer and they even made a public announcement about the case. The Jones family was beyond grateful. The justice they had been clamoring for their son was almost in their grasp now.

“Hello,” Chelsea greeted the man on the other line eagerly. “This is Chelsea Meyer.”
“I know,” said the baritone voice from the other line.
Chelsea felt triumphant. She still had tricks on her sleeves. “I am certain you heard about the false accusations against me. Yes, they were all lies. Those things were orchestrated by Noah Alva and his bitch Fran.”
The man on the other line did not answer. Chelsea continued on.
“Fran is planning to bring me down to justify his illicit relationship with Noah Alva. Everything was just his plot to make me out of Noah’s life. Fran is the evil one. He is jealous of me.”
There was still no answer.
“Thank you for sticking with me. I know you won’t abandon me just for a few rumors. I promise, I’ll do everything to—”
“Chelsea,” the man cut in. “Do you know who I am?”
Chelsea was a bit confused by the question, but she answered anyway. “Yes, I do, sir. You are Steven Grande. The president and CEO of Grande Company—of course, that includes the Grande Luxury Hotel which I am the endorser. You are my boss, sir.”
“And do you know who Fran is?” Mr. Steven Grande asked.
“Why are asking about that peasant, sir? He’s not important—”
“Well, the peasant you are talking about happens to be my nephew.”
Chelsea was in shock. “What did you say, sir?!”
“Franco James Grande Olin—he is my beloved nephew. He belongs to the Grande family. And for additional information, Fran’s parents were part owners of Grande Luxury Hotel. Technically, they’re your bosses, too. Why do you keep on insulting their son using that foul mouth of yours?!”
“Sir, I—”
“I’m glad you called me, Ms. Meyer. I just want to let you know that we are also cutting ties with you. My lawyer will call you later because of the case we’re filing against you.”
Chelsea was having a panic attack. “W-what case are you talking about, sir?”
“Our contract stated that you cannot sully the name of our company in any form of scandals during your time as our endorser. Goodbye, Chelsea. See you in court.” The call ended.
Chelsea was left in shock. She didn’t know what to do or think.
Suddenly, the doorbell on her apartment rang. Chelsea, in her dumbfounded state, opened the door without thinking. She gasped when she saw who her visitors were.
It was the police accompanied by some reporters.
Chelsea Meyer knew it was the end for her.
