    I feel those monsters are cute in a creepy way, just like little Raphael back in the Forbidden City.

    Ethan may feel comfortable with them, rather than because of Disorder’s influence, which is also an important factor, because first, he can relate firstly with being called a monster despite feeling, thinking, and being a human and thus being treated as… A monster.

    Second of all, he gets that sense of belonging from them because those infected humans accept him, and even revere him, they’re not like those human who are hostile, ironically, inhumane and just want to use him.

    As Samuel pointed out, those transformed humans, and creatures like little Raphael, are much more straightforward and treat Ethan as one of their own. Ethan’s family was never a loving one, then he lost his beloved and his friends, he felt isolated from humans long ago, that kind of sense of belonging and acceptance may just hit him too hard. Maybe some day he will even consider those creatures his family…

  4. I didn’t think Samuel was so dumb. He wanted revenge – Ethan did it. He wanted to find his father – Ethan helped him. Ethan fulfilled all his wishes. Samuel knows that he will be sent to research, but he is angry that they are hurting Ethan. He’s really dumb. Didn’t expect this. Did he think they wouldn’t do anything to Ethan?🤦

  6. How can i hate samuel. Each character here are mixture of many conflicted sides to them. Nobody is pure,nobody is innocent,nobody is devoted. Everybody thinks for themselves,everybody wants to out themselves as their priorities. So how am i suppose to just feel such simple emotion as hate towards samuel? I like him yet i dislike him.i love him yet i hate him. I cherish him yet i loathe him. I trust him yet i don’t trust him. I understand him yet i don’t understand him. I want him to be happy yet i don’t want him to be happy. I want him to accomplish him goals yet i don’t want him to. I want him to live yet i don’t want him to.. It’s a really complex. I feel the same way about most of the characters here. A feeling full of uncertain turmoils.
