Want to Try it Out?Ch61 - I Need Advice (1)

One year and five months later

“Thank you so much! I enjoy your stories, Mr. Bunny!” The person tightly held onto the signed book while bowing once.

Chang Min brightly smiled as imaginative sparkles surrounded him, “You’re welcome. And thank you for enjoying my stories.”

  XoFMgh

The person blushed hard, slightly swooning before leaving. Once they left, a loud sigh filled the quiet space next to Chang Min. “Three hours in, and I am bored. Why am I here again?” The person complained for the umpteenth time.

Chang Min looked over at a bored Shao Yuhan and shrugged, “Because you had nothing to do. Ye Xun didn’t need you today, so you are helping me.” They were currently at a BL convention. Chang Min told his readers he would be here for a book signing today.

“I didn’t want to come. I tried seeing if Yao Wen wanted to hang out, but he chose dick over friendship.” Shao Yuhan dramatically sighed once more.

“I would choose dick over friendship too. I mean, I didn’t get friends until all of you, and Ye Xun doesn’t count since he is extremely important to me. So, I am all for dick over friendship.” Chang Min mentioned. Why would he choose anybody over Ye Xun? Ye Xun comes first, except if there are cats.

Shao Yuhan looked at Chang Min with narrowed eyes, “You would be the type to do exactly that.”

“Should I feel insulted or—” Chang Min chuckled, ending his sentence there.

  zZorgA

“Yes, you should be, and, ugh, I am going to make Ye Xun pay me extra for doing this.”

“Stop complaining. We still have an hour left.”

Before their conversation could continue, another person came to Chang Min’s booth, looking anxious. The person was male, wearing a plain hoodie and blue jeans. He also wore thick square glasses and had neck-length black hair with long bangs that completely covered his forehead.

Chrysanthemum Garden.

It was hard to see his face. And not only that, but the man had a low to almost non-existent presence. He is someone a person wouldn’t glance at because they didn’t notice him in the first place.

“Hi, Mr. Bunny, I am a big fan of your work. Out of every story, I enjoyed Twisted Truth the most. Cain and Alex are my favorite characters.” The man greeted him.

Chang Min smiled, “Thank you very much, I appreciate it. And I do apologize for the story taking too long for me to finish.”

The man waved his hand, “It is fine. I don’t mind waiting.”

The conversation paused for a second as Chang Min noticed that the man did not have a book or anything to sign if he wanted that. Before he could ask, the man started talking again while anxiously playing with his fingers.

Ever since Shao Yuhan started hanging with Yao Wen—extending to Xian Bo too—he became blunter (which came off slightly rude).

“Ah, ignore him,” Chang Min quickly said to clear the air, “he is not rude, I swear. That is just how he is.” Then he continued, responding to what the man asked, “I don’t know if I will be much help with anything, but what is the problem?”

  r61O8f

“Saint Chang Min, at your service.” Shao Yuhan muttered, causing Chang Min only to hear it.

God, he needs to separate Shao Yuhan and Yao Wen for a few months because Shao Yuhan is turning into Xian Bo. He is like a sponge that sucks up people’s personalities.

The man nervously looked around, biting his lip while glancing at the ground before saying, “Can we sit somewhere private to speak?”

Before Chang Min could answer, Shao Yuhan quickly stood up. “Let me find a spot, and I will text you where to meet me.” He was gone in under a second.

  c4THtq

Chang Min and the man watched him go—Chang Min with an indifferent expression and the man with an amazed one. “Wow! He moves fast.” The man exclaimed.

Standing up, Chang Min picked his backpack off the floor and started packing. “Yeah. Shao Yuhan is my boyfriend’s personal assistant. My boyfriend is all about effectiveness and speed when it comes to working. Can you help me pack up?”

  Ve7rCn

“Uh, should we wait? I think it will be a while before he comes back.”

“No. Shao Yuhan will be fast.”

  0mKolC

“Okay.” The man looked skeptical but started helping anyway.

As they finished clearing the table, Chang Min felt his phone vibrate. He pulled it out, seeing that Shao Yuhan texted him with a location. He pocketed it, “He found a spot. You can follow me.” Chang Min told the man.

  g GuCK

“That’s fast.”

Chrysanthemum Garden.

Chang Min hummed, zipping up his backpack as he started walking towards Shao Yuhan’s location. The man followed after him.

When they reached the area, Shao Yuhan sat in a secluded spot with refreshments on the table. Chang Min sat down next to him, setting his backpack down as he grabbed one of the drinks. “Thanks.” He took a sip. It was his favorite: strawberry lemonade.

Shao Yuhan glared, “Don’t get used to it.” Chang Min silently chuckled. Shao Yuhan would always say this but would do the opposite of his words. His actions—in a literal sense—spoke louder than his words.

The man sat on the other side, grabbing a drink for himself while thanking Shao Yuhan. “Before I start, I want to say that my name is Song Mu.”

“Well, hi, Song Mu, my real name is Chang Min.”

  SZvqGP

“It is so much better than Mr. Bunny, right?” Shao Yuhan offhandedly commented.

They ignored Shao Yuhan’s comment as they continued the conversation. “So, there is a man I have a crush on, and I cannot get him to notice me.”

  nlM Qy

“I don’t think anyone notices you.” Shao Yuhan commented.

“Shao Yuhan, please.” Chang Min tried to stop. Although he does agree, Song Mu’s presence is so low, he might as well be invisible.

  1zAEF5

Song Mu did not mind the comment because it was true. Plus, his parents told him many times before; they cursed giving Song Mu their ‘presences’ genes because it made it hard for him to make friends or have a relationship.

“I don’t mind,” Song Mu waved off, “I know that I am like a ghost.”

  UaCzg7

“Maybe if you change your style while building some confidence, your presence will change.” Shao Yuhan continued to comment.

Chang Min sighed. Shao Yuhan will never stop being brutally honest. Song Mu scratched the back of his head with a burst of nervous laughter, “I tried before and wasn’t successful. But, Chang Min, I was wondering if you could give me some advice on how to get my crush to notice me.”

  bUStAx

“Oh,” Chang Min slightly blushed, “I don’t know if I will be a good person for love advice. I have never been good with people until now, and the only relationship I had/have is my boyfriend.”

“And those two are childhood friends also.” Shao Yuhan mentioned.

  h8iEmb

Song Mu started playing with his fingers again, “Your stories have amazing advice in them, but I was wondering if you have anything to say about getting someone to notice you.”

Looking at the man, Chang Min wanted to help. But, he did not know-how. Yeah, Chang Min can write many love stories, but giving personal love advice is something else entirely. Maybe he could try to help.

  Uk932L

Maybe he will need another to help him.

He glanced at Shao Yuhan, who quickly shook his head as he noticed the look. “Oh no, don’t look at me. My boyfriend used to be a possessive stalker. The only help I can give is how to be a tease if that is the right word. Or is it playing hard to get?”

  28mEOS

Song Mu wondered if he should react to Shao Yuhan saying his boyfriend was a possessive stalker. Honestly, what is the best response to that?

Chang Min bit his lip, thinking about what to do before an idea hit him. Maybe, he can get everyone else to help because getting someone to notice you will take more than receiving some love advice.

  U30JNh

“Wait! I do have a way to help you, but you need to come home with us.” Chang Min enthusiastically said, not realizing how his words sounded.

It was silent after his words as they settled in before Shao Yuhan started laughing, Chang Min turned redder each second, and Song Mu covered his mouth to hide his chuckles.

  XViqQf

“Haha, should I tell Ye Xun you are trying to pick someone up?” Shao Yuhan continued to laugh.

Chang Min punched his arm, “You know I did not mean it that way.” Then he turned towards Song Mu. “Sorry if my words came out wrong. I meant that I have other people that can help you too. We all live together, and they will be home soon, so would you like to come over to meet them?”

  YXiukc

“If it would help me with catching my crush, I don’t mind coming over.” Song Mu agreed.

Brightly smiling, Chang Min clapped his hands, “Awesome.”

After Shao Yuhan finished laughing, he commented with words that lingered in the air. “Great, it seems we will be wingmen.”

It is here: the last arc. Shao Yuhan, Chang Min, Ye Xun, Yao Zhihao, Yao Wen, and Xian Bo are going to help someone catch a man. Is anyone ready to see them in action on helping someone? I know, I am. Anyway, yes, they all became good friends and even live together (started five months ago on Yao Zhihao’s playful suggestion that became real).

Now, let me introduce my six lovely boys (with their roles and occupations):

Chang Min (Writer)- The Advisor: “Apparently, I am supposed to give dating advice.” Fdif0R

Ye Xun (CEO)- The Seducer: “It is a natural thing.”

Xian Bo (Psychologist)- The Fashionista: “I eat, drink, sleep, and breathe fashion.”

Please support our translators at chrysanthemumgarden (dot) com

Yao Wen (Forensic Pathologist)- The Submissive: “Forget seduction, I can have any man eating out the palm of my hand.”

Yao Zhihao (Tech)- The Stalker: “Oh, what a coincidence, we meet again.” 3w8Zfn

Shao Yuhan (Assistant)- The Mouse: “Everyone loves a challenge.”

Omake:

Everyone (minus Chang Min and Xian Bo) to Yao Wen: You are a PATHOLOGIST!

Yao Wen: *cutely smiles* yes; I quite enjoy cutting open bodies. 9drvEN

Everyone (minus Chang Min): *sweats*

Chang Min: *pulling out a notebook and pen while sitting next to Xian Bo* interesting, can you tell me more about your job—well more specifically the dead bodies? I want to make a murder story.

  1. I really like the ideaaa!! A little sad that it will be the last arc but that sounds really fun 😂😂

    And this omake lmao

  2. Haha it’s funny (because some of them pretend not to get along) and yet so right (because some of them seriously need a support group) that they all live together. I hope the walls are soundproofed 😏
