  1. Oh my god! Nobody died or murdered or turned into seawater! I almost don’t know what to do with myself! But it’s very nice to see. Thanks for the chapter!

  2. Thanks for the chapter! I love director Xi’s reaction of “what good kids” to the emotional entanglement and love problems ❤️ Really must be a wonderful change of pace for him.

  3. Oh my gosh, if Director Xi was an award winning educator, who also felt like a parental figure to boys who didn’t have any, than it’s no wonder he felt like he’d failed Shan Yutian so deeply. A lovers’ miscommunication and a bunch of hug-it-outs would be like a reward for his hard work 😅.

  4. Wait.

    Timeout.

    Hold up!

“Interfering CELESTIAL parents”?? I figured something was up with the boys’ mysterious mom, but figured she was a shaman or something which allowed them some sort of attunement to the spiritual world. You’re telling me she’s a literal GODDESS (spirit? supernatural entity?)?! If they’re essentially demigods then who says silly little rules like dying (or staying dead) apply to them the same way they do to mere mortals? Is it weird that I suddenly have hope for a happy ending for everyone?

It also explains why the island reacts so intuitively to the boys. It’s not a cursed island coming to life and punishing evildoers; it’s not a curse at all. It’s the unconscious psyche of hurt, traumatized children leaking out through their uncontrolled divine(?) powers.
