Teaming Up with System 225Ch43 - Trans Idol (1)

Edited by: Kuro and Lille

Before we get started, I (Grandpa Marky) just want to say this one more time: pcqUWJ

When referring to both the MC and the original body, please use he/him pronouns. I repeat, do not ask what the original body’s deadname is. It is rude to ask a transgender person this. Also, do not ask what their genitalia is. This is also rude. You do not go up to strangers and ask them what they have between their legs.

Any transphobic comments will be reported and deleted. If you are uncomfortable about this, do not read my story. There’s an important character that gets introduced in this Arc so it wouldn’t do you good to skip it.
If you have any questions relating to sex and gender, I will do my best to answer them or refer you to another resource.
Other than that, please do not post rude comments, I do not take bullshit. If you try to debate with me in the comments, just know your comment will be ignored and deleted.

Alright, thank you for reading and I hope you all enjoy this Arc as much as I did! :googleredheart: :googleredheart:

When the Host woke up, he found himself lying on the floor in the middle of a room. The room was filled with instruments, music sheets, notebooks full of lyrics, and a desk with a computer on it. There was also equipment on the desk that he couldn’t identify from afar. There was a nightstand next to the twin-size bed that sat in the right corner furthest away from the door. He could see an opened closet door. A window was on the wall in front of him. 0dS hE

When he became conscious of where he was, he felt an incredibly horrific feeling coursing through his body. It was so uncomfortable, he wanted to rip his skin off to get rid of the itchy, stabbing feeling. Strong emotions assaulted him, making him nauseous.

He ran out of the room to find the bathroom. Luckily the bathroom door, which was in the same hallway on the left, was open, so he ran in, shut the door, and vomited into the toilet. He puked until the only thing left in his stomach was gastric acid, but he still didn’t feel better.

It was the first time he had ever gone into a body that had such strong negative emotions. It was so strong that he could only shiver on the carpet in the bathroom. He wanted to find something to take his mind off of the nightmarishly disgusting feelings he felt.

‘System, what’s going on?’

[Answering Host, the emotions that you are feeling are the original soul’s feelings about his body. His soul fiercely rejected his body’s construction of data, and the accumulated emotions that were on his soul had latched on to yours the moment you entered the body.]

Seeing his crotch, another intense wave of nausea hit and he went back to the toilet.

The Host couldn’t calm himself down to receive the world data, so he had System 225 tell him about the body and the world he was in. xuMonQ

[Host, the legal name of your body is L******. The name he goes by is Jaden Autumn. In the society of this world, he is labeled as a “trans man.” Trans men are individuals whose sex is labeled as “female” at birth, while their gender identity is “male.” This type of labeling is especially prevalent in societies that are fixed to binaries. The reason for this peculiarity is because there are times where souls slip into bodies that are not correctly formatted.

[Souls and bodies are like data; there are times when the soul and body are correct but the body’s data is not. This is exactly what happened to Jaden’s soul and body, which is why he felt severe resistance towards the body he was assigned. His soul was saying, “This is the right body”, but he was receiving signals saying, “The data is wrong though! How do we fix this?!” There hasn’t been any way to correct the body’s data when it goes wrong, which is why this peculiar situation is unavoidable in some worlds.

[Also, there are those who are called non-binary (or anything under that umbrella term). This is because there are souls that have no gender, two genders, etc., or an “ambiguous” one that I have not mentioned like Gers or those within the Omegaverse. Depending on the data in their souls, usually, they are assigned to bodies that will fit those requirements, but there are times in worlds like these where souls that are programmed for bodies not of the binary to be stuck in them. Hosts are not bound to the strict requirements of the data, but when being assigned bodies in each world, they will go into bodies that are the most compatible to receive minimum resistance.]

‘How about when I was in the Villain System?’ UkTXcM

[You were carelessly tossed into the most unfortunate bodies regardless of data, which was why your soul felt exhausted. It received lots of backlashes. That backlash opened the door to the world’s energy. The parasites will leak from the Host’s soul and into the World’s data. This is how they spread the parasites of the Villain System.]

‘No wonder I felt weaker and weaker as I went through each world… Anyways, System 225, please continue with the explanation of this world.’

[Understood. The world you are in is a more “modern” one with technology a bit more advanced than your original world. The original Jaden was a poor cannon fodder who didn’t even get to actualize his dream as an idol. Not only did Jaden play instruments and sing, but he was also very gifted in dancing. There was someone at the dance studio who was jealous of him and bumped into him while he was dancing. When he hit the floor, he broke his leg in the oddest way possible. Even if his leg healed, he would forever walk with a limp. This ruined his dreams and ambitions, and he fell into a deep depression.

[The person who bumped into him was the female protagonist, Sumia. Her story was that she became an idol trainee that did a lot of background dancing for a famous boy group and the leader fell in love with her. He fell for her hard work and persistence. They kept it a secret for a while and when the fans saw them kiss, it blew up. She stayed as a background dancer and idol trainee for a while. They stayed together through every storm and became the ideal for couples everywhere.] ErFsuR

‘What happened to Jaden? How did he die?’

[Though he had given up his dream as an idol, he could become a singer, but he was still very depressed. When he ran away from home to start HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy), he got kidnapped by a group of human traffickers as they happened to pass by him while he was sleeping on a park bench. He was sexually assaulted for 2 years hiding his gender identity before finally perishing from an STD.]

Story translated by Chrysanthemum Garden.

‘This story is fucking ridiculous and he didn’t deserve any of that. Who the fuck made this kind of shit plot? Like what were the ODDS that some bastards walked by the moment he fell asleep?’

He was so mad he wanted to punch everyone and everything. His emotions were definitely already out of whack. EZ3uA

[Host, this is our job. We heal and give these souls peace. Let’s make sure they won’t ever have to live a life like this ever again.]

The Host, now Jaden, nodded. Regardless of Jaden’s sex or gender identity, he would make sure that Jaden was living the best life he should’ve been living.

Jaden got off the floor regardless of how uncomfortable he felt. After he calmed himself down, the most he felt was discomfort, like he was stepping on legos with every step he took.

‘System, what are my missions?’ 60oqpO

[Here are your missions.

[Main Mission: Become a top idol (Note: Even though he had settled to being just a singer in the plot, please do note that the mission won’t be complete if he isn’t an Idol. He must become a top idol.)

[Side Mission: Come out to your parents.
Side Mission: Socially and Medically Transition.
Side Mission: Avoid breaking your leg.]

Jaden went back to his room to relax and process everything that System 225 told him. He felt confused about the second side mission. JVdHqf

‘What do you mean by socially and medically transitioning?’

[Socially transitioning is defined as integrating into society with your gender identity. In simple terms, you have to present yourself as “male” to everyone. If it means you have to come out to people, you will do it. Instead of going by your dead name, you will go by your chosen name, Jaden. Also, you must change the legal name and sex indicator on every legal document. Things of this nature.

[As for medically transitioning, HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy), and Top and Bottom surgeries are the most common for those who are wishing to medically transition. HRT, or hormone replacement therapy, is when a trans person or cis-gender person is prescribed hormones from a doctor. For trans people, in particular, it can be used to masculinize or feminize the person’s appearance. It also changes a person’s voice, though trans men have it easier than trans women when it comes to voice changes. Trans men or masculine non-binary folks use testosterone or other male hormones while trans women use estrogen or other female hormones. Top surgery is a chest reconstruction to masculinize it. Bottom surgery is when you get surgery to get the genitalia that you want. These are the most common for trans men. Trans women have other surgeries as well and some go through therapy to train their voices to be higher in pitch.]

‘How taxing, but this is the reality for a lot of trans people, isn’t it…’ wl1uky

Jaden, the Host, had been people of many sexes because of the Villain System. It was his first time in the body of a trans man though. There weren’t a lot of worlds with this sort of predicament, but he was willing to give the original all that he deserved.

[Host, be careful of your emotions from here on out. You will have periods where you will experience an influx of emotions labeled as “Gender Dysphoria.” It will be worse on some days compared to others, or it will worsen during certain situations. Even though this world is peaceful, because of the body you are occupying, it is ranked E instead of F. Good luck in this world, Host.]

Jaden could deal with his gender identity as a trans man, but would God System be able to?

kuro_kama: The Host after he heard the plot: (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ [Like what were the ODDS that some bastards walked by the moment he fell asleep.] N9t7z1

Lille: This is my first time reading about a Trans MC in these kinds of books! So intrigued~ ( ‾́ ◡ ‾́ )

Grandpa Marky: Kuro has mentioned that this arc is a bit more informative. We don’t think it’s too bad but it’s definitely a bit more different than how I usually write. It was fun though! Also, I love this Arc so much because we need more transgender representation in stories, movies, TV shows, etc. As a transgender man myself, I felt that this Arc was so therapeutic to write. Just know these are not based on my life and this is fiction.

  1. Tbh, at first, I was really reluctant to read this arc. Not because the MC is trans, no. It was because I’m scared of the transphobia that might be shown. I’m a trans man too, although because I am underage, and because I’m currently hiding inside my closet, I haven’t been transitioning yet (I actually might not transition, I’m broke af aha-) and is currently really scared of the opinions of others if they know about it.

But the first chapter for this arc really intrigued me, so I shall steel myself and read this arc with both enthusiasm and high spirits (this isn’t the word I’m looking for, but it shall work for now).

Thanks for the chapter, author-san! <3

    • That is so valid! I hope this Arc gives you a bit of hope.

As another broke trans man, I feel you. I am an adult but I still struggle and I haven’t transitioned either. It may seem like your situation right now is suffocating, but just know, as you get older you will have the power to make decisions for yourself and slowly provide for yourself. Also, I don’t know what country you live in, but I would look at non-profit organizations that could help you in the future. Don’t give up friend! It’s a hard fight, but it will be worth it in the end 😀

  2. Not particularly knowledgeable (at all) in this subject so I’m happy to learn more here!

    Thanks 🙂

    • Ooooo yes yes! Stay for a long time 😀 I’m sure you will learn lots. If you have any questions throughout the Arc, don’t be afraid to ask. I will answer it or send you a link to a credible source. Thanks for reading ^_^

    • looking forward to this I have been waiting for the arc to finish so I could read it at once!

today I was hoping it was finished, then I saw that you already started the next arc!

P.S. so out of tune with time since summer break has started!!!!

  3. Thanks for the chapter! As others have said, it will be different and informative to have an MC who is trans… I don’t know much about the topic, but I love your explanation of how this might occur because of incorrect body data… I look forward to this arc!

  4. Finally the long-awaited arc 4. I’m looking forward to when readers will be more knowledgeable on the transgender topic. It’s really an issue that even if there’s a lot who read the BL/GL genre, there’s still many who don’t know much about the lgbtq+ community.

    • Legal name is the name you have on legal documents like your birth certificate or ID. These can be changed (as long as you go through the court and cough up some money).
I censored the name to respect this trans character who is uncomfortable with others using the name or knowing the name. Not all trans people hate their legal name they were given at birth but this character doesn’t like it. .

  5. Hello. I am from Russia and perhaps that is why it will be difficult for me to understand all these concepts and I will often get confused. I’ve never seen anything like this before. Please, if anything, take my feedback as from a beginner and explain to me if they turn out to be rude.

    • Hey its alright! I will explain it as best as I can. I know its a lot at first but as you see it more, it becomes easier to understand.
I will do my best to explain or send you a link with more information thats easy to understand. 😄💕

  6. I’m really anticiparing this. I haven’t come across this kind of story an im happy that it’d well informed so far.

  7. Definitely something new to me

But still I love reading it 🥰🥰

Btw no matter what I hope more people are enjoying this as much as I do and be supportive ~~

    Thank you 💛

  8. Hm… it feels weird… I am feeling weird about the arc ;-; No, it’s not about being trans… it’s more about the lack of peepee (idk having that thing opens more kinks and stuff imo) T^T boohoo. I’m very interested tho, since I’ve already read a novel with a male mc transmigrating into a hermaphrodite host… I guess they’re similar? :> Thanks for the update!

  9. I don’t know much about this subject, but I’m glad to learn more about this. It’s my first time reading this kind of arc so.. :DD

  10. i had to ask grandpa google what trans mean and i still don’t understand but oh well i’m still going to read this

  11. I sincerely applaud the courage it takes for trans people to be true to themselves and not let others’ attitudes hold them back. I may not know first had how much pain and fear you’ve felt due to your body not matching your gender, but I hope that you have plenty of people who love you for who you are and support you whole heartedly. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, no matter what some narrow minded people think. You are all beautiful and unique and no one has the right to make you feel bad about yourself.

While I’m just a standard straight woman, I often think that I’d be just as happy being a homosexual man as I am a straight woman (possibly more so since I wouldn’t have to deal with female problems every month.) I have never thought of myself as a man, never felt like I was the wrong gender, but I’ve also never really thought of myself as a female either. I suppose if i had to define my gender and not my sex, I’d be neutral. I’ve never been attracted to women, so if I had been born a male, I would have been gay. Anyway, I’ve been tossing around a story idea for a while in which a person, with a similar personality to mine, ends up transmigrating into her own stories in various different bodies, both male and female, some human, some not. I just haven’t had time to actually start writing it. I work too much.

But enough about me, I love how your story is developing and how real the host is. His thoughts, feelings and fears make him feel real and makes my heart break for how hurt he’s been in the past. I look forward to seeing how he and God System continue to grow and heal each other. Keep up the awesome writing, you’re really good at it.

    • Thank you for sharing your thoughts and story! I’ve only met one other person who felt their gender was more “neutral.” Though they didn’t even have a preference of gender on the people they were dating so they are a bit different. I think that would be an amazing story to read about, by the way, and I would LOVE to read the story whenever you write it. Drop a link when you get it going XD.

I have my good share of people loving and supporting me, so thank you. At times it gets tough, but all we can do is keep moving forward. Exploring who we are is a part of life.

Also, I am really happy you like how my story is developing! Thank you so much for reading. <3

      • I’m glad that you have people in your corner. It gives me hope that humanity won’t destroy ourselves though ignorance and hatred when i hear about other people who are as accepting of others’ differences as I am. As for my story, I will definitely leave you a link if I find time to start writing it. I’ll have to write a good few chapters or at least on arc before I post it though, I can’t stand making people wait on me to update a story that’s in progress. Even if everyone is nice about it, with putting in 40+ hours at work, I’m not left a lot of time or energy to write, plus my computer is slow as heck, I really should get it checked out. Or maybe just get a new one with next year’s taxes. Anyway, I have to go for now. Only 20 minutes left before work starts… another 9 hour shift today. Really need to win the lottery so I can quit working at McDonald’s and write full time. Have a great day!
        • That’s fine! Take your time and don’t rush. Life comes first. Writing is always second or third haha. Good luck at work!

Also, me too. They are my chosen family. I appreciate them a lot.

  12. Just want to share in case anyone else wants to know (I had to look it up, so I wanted to share in case anyone like me was embarrassed to ask). A deadname (noun) is defined as “call (a transgender person) by their birth name when they have changed their name as part of their gender transition.” If this is wrong or doesn’t include everything, please leave a reply so I can correct my understanding (^w^)

  13. As a muslim, I don’t stop myself from understanding the others’ principles, values, preferences, and etc. I’m open to this kind of topic or whatever it is even though I belong to a religion that has so much rules, beliefs, and practices. I respect and appreciate those who knows their selves, those who love their selves, those who stays to what and who they are.

That’s why I do appreciate this arc because this will give me knowledge and lessons in life, it will give informations that I don’t know which will help me out.

Ps: I’m not sure I have explained this well or not? 😓 I’m not well versed in English, so I apologize if some will misinterpreted or misunderstood my comment :'(

    • Hey, your English was good and I understood what you are trying to convey. Thank you for respecting and appreciating other people outside of what you are used to. I saw your other comment on chapter 11 of this Arc so I can’t say, “I hope you learn a lot.” I’m sure I will see that in your other comment LOL.
Thank you so much for reading my story and appreciating this arc. 😀

  14. I’m so lost sometimes on how people interact with strangers…..it’s great to be interested in expands one understanding of something different but then there is personal boundaries. These two things should never cross not to mention how is it anyones business. Thank you for communicating boundaries and having the patience to do so. As a stranger on this large planet with you, wishing you safety, love and happiness in 2022.💖❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

  15. When I saw the arc, Trans Idol, I immediately research the terms that was used, and might be use by the arc.

And honestly, the terms (genderfluid, non-binary, genderqueer, etc) I’m initially confused about, because of this, I’ve got quite an understanding about them.

  16. This is my first time reading about a trans MCand this definitely looks good where I live I have seen lots of trans men and women but I don’t really know much about how much they go through during their times and what happens or what kind of pain they went through in thoer life 🥺 so I’m glad I’ll get to learn about it this way and I hope ppl except others for who they r and don’t discriminate others because this work is so big and full possibilities 🥰

  17. My first time reading QT about trans people and i’m still confused about the rules and all in trans people world bcs it’s quite complicated, how will MC complete the tasks in this world, i’m excited 😆

  18. Nice, firm pre-arc statement. Love it. ❤ I’ve read so many different quick transmigration series, but I’m forward to the rest of this unique arc.

  19. It’s really refreshing to see this kind of MC. This is my first time to see trans MC, good to know this kind of story. Hopefully, I will like this arc.

  20. Not me absolutely loving this, god the last arcs were good but it’s the first time i see an Novel that talks about a trans mc in a system novel, ANYWAY thank you so much, i don’t usually comment, and here i am doing it 3 times cuz it’s just so good ???

    • ive seen your other comments and thank you for commenting! truly I appreciate it 😀 I also rarely comment but I do read the comments quite frequently. anyway, thank you for reading ^_^ I’m really glad you have been liking my story thus far. i also saw you enjoyed this arc which I’m so glad about! hope to see you in other arcs too ☺

  21. My aunt is a Trans girl she didn’t know she was a girl until much later in life (I don’t know when). I didn’t know that until I was 14 but I still see her as my aunt.

  22. This arc made me feel a little bit weird since this is my first time reading a story with a transgender MC I hope transgender people will not be mad by my comment I don’t know if it is offensive sorry😓

    • Hey its ok! 😀 I hope you will go through the arc and learn more about transgender people and their experiences. It’s okay to be ignorant of certain matters and topics. As long as you are willing to learn and keep an open mind, I don’t see a problem ^_^ I do hope you learned a lot in this arc because transgender people are all over the world in many different societies. it’s all part of the human experience
