Yes! Exactly! I can appreciate the fictional setting, but when I’m submersed in the story, I can’t help thinking about the reality lol. Blood isn’t oily, it clots. Besides the tearing, there can also be severe cramping and spasms. It won’t stop me from loving the story but I got too excited that someone thinks the same way. And it would be tragic if someone went into a similar situation thinking it will get better once the bleeding starts.
Right it’s like a scene where the characters talk about all the succulent and delicious plastic they’re eating. It’s not like it’s a plot point, it costs me nothing to ignore it, but it’s also super duper straight up factually wrong and it would be a shame for anyone to ever really believe it for half a second.
I always try to remember that not everyone likes nitpicking but it’s hard, lol

In addition to blood, so often I see scenes in the water implying that nothing else is needed… Lubricants can be water based, but water itself is not a lubricant.However, it is nice to see the confirmation that the initial incident was Teng Shang’s manipulation, and was consensual.
