“No…” Lin Xiao mumbled again before his eyes fluttered open. Because of the fever, his eyes were teary and Qin Yijun could see that Lin Xiao was in a haze. The eyes blinked once, then twice, before finally regaining a bit of clarity.
“Xiao-er is awake? Will you let me go and take off my clothes now?” Qin Yijun asked with a smile.
Lin Xiao didn’t answer, but the grip on Qin Yijun’s hand loosened. Seeing this, Qin Yijun pulled his hand away and began to remove his outer robes. But before he could even finish, he suddenly felt an arm around his neck before he was forced down onto the bed. If this was anyone else, Qin Yijun would not hesitate to kill the other the moment he felt the arm around his neck but this was Lin Xiao, the other half of his soul.
“What’s wrong?” Qin Yijun asked as he watched Lin Xiao who was currently on top of him.
“Mmn… too slow,” Lin Xiao muttered before he nuzzled his face against the crook of Qin Yijun’s neck. The hot breath on his neck was sending warning signals to Qin Yijun’s brain and he had to close his eyes and recites few lines of scriptures.
After a while, he could hear Lin Xiao’s steady breathing, indicating that Lin Xiao had fallen asleep once more. Qin Yijun wanted to move, but the moment he did, Lin Xiao also moved to prevent him from moving.

The frown on Lin Xiao’s forehead finally relaxed and with a smile, he hooked his arm around Qin Yijun again. Not only that, he even raised his legs, wrapping them around Qin Yinun’s strong waist. “Good Emperor,” Lin Xiao said with a mischievous smirk. “Since you’re the Son of Heaven… how about you bring me there to sightsee?”
