2. Xu Che is 30 years old? He waited for Ji Zhou for 17 years and they should be of similar age. Does that mean Ji Zhou was sent to the Palace when he was about 13 or 14 years old?

   • I had gotten the impression that Ji Zhuo was a few years older, by the way it describes Zu Che as sort of puppyish when they were younger- following him around, bringing him things, getting flustered – to me that indicates an early teen trying to keep up with an older one. Still too young, but I thought it sounded like Jo Zhuo was closer to 18, because he was already established as a competent fighter, too.

     • I also thought Ji Zhuo should be about 3 to 5 years older than Xu Che in the beginning. But age really doesn’t matter now. I’m glad that they have gotten together at last.

   • This chapter made me cry. So beautiful. They finally get their happy ending. “Even though they were separated by two ends, they hearts were never far away”

   • I think he was in his late 30s and ji zhuo is only slightly older than him
