I agree. If you go with italicize, do the whole monologue. If you don’t italicize, leave the whole thing like that. But I’d prefer the italicized. I just worry a dumbass like me would get to the end of italicized parts and go “huh. guess the rest isnt monologue ¯_(ツ)_/¯” and do a double take
